Needs updating, poor conditions, rude front desk

Without taking our name to see if our room was ready 15minutes before checkin time, front desk was rude & said no rooms are ready (but they'd magically be ready in 15mins?!). Front door was stuck and hard to open/close. Toilet broken & had to hold handle down entire time to flush, toilet lid in bad shape & peeling up. Faucet in bathroom constantly leaked. Leather chair in room was peeling in bad shape. And stains on bed sheets-had to go get new/clean sheets for the bed! Gross! Desperate need of updates, wont return!

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. View was amazing and rooms were clean. Wall paper falling off walls and beds not overly comfortable but was ok for 1 night. Staff in restaurant and food options were great. Pool and hot tub clean and towels available.

Thisbis an old hotel so I wasn't expecting somwthung new and shiny. The staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The room was remodled and up to date. It had a small balcony with a great ocean view. The only negatives were; the fireplace didn’t work very good, they only left 1 roll of toilet paper for 4 days, they only left 2 coffee pods for 4 days. There is very little sound proofing. I'm assuming since it's an old building. It seemed like the people above us were on a walk about in their 200 sq ft room all night. Over all I would reccomend staying here.

Upon checking in we were greeted by a woman who stated “I am so glad you made it, management was going to cancel your reservation “ I was confused because per our reservation, we were to pay upon check in. She told us that they tried to authorize our stay by running our cc prior to us arriving, and since I wasn’t paying attention, the CVV was incorrect and the charge was declined. (We always get notified if something is wrong with our cc, whether it be fraud alert, declined, etc, and we never once received any of that. ) Then she asked if we had been called. I confirmed with her that no, we had not received a call from the property about the issue. She said she would pass that along. The last communication was at noon when they told us that our cc had been declined, and I replied that our arrangement was to pay at the property and we would take care of it when we got there. She told us they attempted to charge our card two additional times, even after receiving a message stating that was on record. The pool was lovely- warm and clean. The hotel room upon first glance is great, however worn down and in need of an update and some definite soundproofing. You can hear the bathroom fans from the floor below as they vibrate your floor, and subtle walking from the floor above sounds like a stampede. The outlets and lamps next to the bed didn’t work, and the pleather chairs were peeling and in need of being redone or replaced. Great access to the beach however…

Clean room with great view of the beach. Short walk to access the beach and the signs are well marked. Tv menu had a bit of a learning curve, instuctions would be nice. Only bad mark is the upholstery on the chair in the room was falking apart and flaking off. I placed a folded towel over it. One more end table would be nice.

The view was amazing! The only real issues were we were supposed to have a room with a jacuzzi tub, and when we got there they told us it wasn't available. Due to the Kings tide, the room we had was nice, but the carpets were stained.

The view was amazing, the bed was cozy, ge pillows need replaced, also for two people in a room there should be at least 4 big towels and wash clothes.

Room 230 was recently updated and very nice but the age of the property showed. The pool and building was in very poor shape. Staff for the most part was very kind and helpful with the exception of one women at the front desk.
