A friend and I stayed the weekend for the rodeo championship, for the price that we paid it was pretty nice. Room and bedding were clean but had a couple of stains (stains really arent going to hurt you) and it was quiet aside from the downstairs pool/bar area one night but we couldn’t hear them from our wing. The front desk staff were nice enough to us. We skipped the bar and breakfast because Louisville has no shortage of excellent restaurants. getting to and from the expo center was easy and painless, with traffic it took us at most about 15 minutes to get there. Overall our stay was good. It’s right off the interstate. I can’t say much about the area but the hotel itself is fine.

The room I was in the tub had been painted over, the furniture was chipped and missing paint, the ice machine had mold on it the smell in the building is awful I thought I walked into a storage area that had been holding old furniture for 20 years

Bed was really hard. Refrigerator barely worked. Bathtub had chipped paint all through the tub floor. Stuff all over main are floor, looked like it hadn't been vacuumed.

The view around the property was nice, however there where a couple things that made the stay a little unwelcoming, there was puke at the entrance two days we where there and it took hours for it to be cleaned up, also the breakfast was not as advertised, sure we knew it was not complimentary but we where under the impression that it was a set price for a buffet style eatery and it was a restaurant style instead. While the room was okay, everything else is not worth another stay for us next time we're in town.

Our bathroom shower dropped the entire stay, the tv doesn’t let you actually choose anything channels on the guide provided, the blow dryer in this room was of a much lesser quality than the ones in other rooms we’ve stayed in.

The staff was great they tried. The rooms were clean. I put rooms because the 1st room was clean however when I got ready to close the curtains, one of the sheer curtains was shredded and there wasn’t a second one and the heavier darker curtains would not close. 2nd room, almost the same issue with the sheer curtains except they both were shredded, I got the heavier darker ones to close so I stayed. The desk chair needs to be replaced. I noticed the bathroom floor was wet but since I had just got out of the shower I didn’t think anything of it. Went to work came back and the floor was soaked. Reported it, I was changed to a third room, as I opened the door to the other hallway, it reeked of weed. It was so bad my throat and nose burned. Reported it also and I decided to stay in the flooded room at least I could breathe. Maintenance came not sure if he found the problem but the floor was dry. Woke up at 1a because I had to be at work at 2a and floor flooded again. I took everything and checked out on my way to work. After work, around 10:50a, I returned to make sure the staff knew the bathroom was still flooded. Housekeeping also reported it. The only response I got through this mess was “I’m sorry” not anything else about let me see if maybe we could comp a night or something. Needless to say I will NEVER stay there again and I am not sure how they got a rating of 8/10. The best thing I can say about the place is the lobby and indoor pool area were beautiful.
