Very good

Someone's underwear left in a draw, marks/stains on the sheets, chaotic check in, shower head broken, bed was so uncomfortable and faced a busy main road. We had to ask multiple times for towels, as there was only one in the room. Breakfast was ok but nothing to sing about. Very disappointing. Wouldn't recommend

Liked: Cleanliness
Served it purpose room very clean. Only 1 towel 3 pillows on the bed to sleep 2 No bath mat so slippery floor when getting out of the shower plus nowhere to put shower gels etc very awkward . Breakfast was random you had to pre order the night before and it was very basic.
Great staff, clean, warm generous sized room, lovely breakfast- only very minor issue is that the TV wasn’t tuned and couldn’t get signal - and curtains to small for the window but that’s all I could fault - would definitely recommend and would stay there again
The rooms are basic or functional, but they weren't that clean. The toilet was nothing short of disgusting. The room had everything in that was needed I suppose but I was quite surprised that noise really travelled across the hotel and restaurant as did the aroma of cooking. Probably wouldnt return.
Rooms were good and the food in the restaurant is first class
Staff couldn’t do enough for me and even kept the kitchen open when I arrived late on a Sunday.
Only issue was the road noise at night, however, nothing can be done about that!
I only write review when its really bad. UK hotels do not deserve good reviews. Due to lack of choice being due to government taking over for their guests choices are limited and expensive. I hate independent hotels there's always a greater chance of something going wrong.
Went into pub and was greeted by staff perfectly pleasant. Room is spacious (room 5) an executive room with a fridge and fan. Bathroom very small and shower head was collapsing due to the weight of it so i tied it to the fitting to hold in upright it looked worn and torn. The shower door really stiff of poor quality. The tv didn't work at all! . Every channel was a scrambled picture. The internet is ok.
When i went out through back there was a leak at the side of the property (right had side) and what looked like a poo in the water. I stepped over it and i my sandal had touched some of the water gross. When i came back it was a serious matter with the water across the width of the drive so you had to step in or drive through sewage. This sent my OCD through the roof. i asked someone who looked like the chef if they knew about this leak and he said he had called the drainage people. No signs had been erected to warn you or attempt to contain the flow spreading.
I told my partner not to bother coming.
The hotel carried on regardless.
In morning piles of clean towels and bedding laid on floor Considering what had been walked into building this is unhygienic.
I threw my sandals away.
