We arrived early so we knew our room would not be ready but they let us store our luggage and took my cell phone number indicating they would call when room was available. We went out to breakfast and did some exploring. Still no call about the room. We sat in the lobby for 45 minutes hoping to get the call. After watching a few families arrive and get their room keys I approached the front desk and asked if our room was available yet and she said yes. I inquired as to why we didn’t receive a phone call about it and the young lady working the front desk simply said “well that arrangement was made with the man and he left”. No apology or I’m sorry - actually she just laughed when I asked again why we didn’t get notified that our room was available. Not very good customer service. If I hadn’t gone back up to the front desk who knows how long it would have been before we were notified about our room - if at all.
