. The service, rates, and accessibility to the property was a two to one star. Upon arriving a day late due to the storm I was told that arriving late I would still have to pay for the unused night but not the unused resort fee. I took the loss. When arriving the attendant argued that I had to pay the unused resort fee. An extra drink was given as an apology (other issues lead up to this token). That drink is not equivalent to one resirt fee. My reasong as follows; I booked at the Penguin. My driver could not get to the Penguin due to road closures. I had to walk with my luggage the three to four blocks to the Penguin. The attendant stared at my identification and took my reservation information, and stared at the computer for ten minutes. I was thinking I came all this way and after calling and confirming my reservation and emails with management about my travel delays, and unused night and resort fee, that they had lost my reservation, and at 9pm I'd have to find a new hotel. They had booked me at their sister hotel the President. Which I am also reviewing in equal measure. I go through several passages and hallways with staff to get to the President. I have the duscussion of fees. Then, I am informed I am on the second floor, two flights up, and the elevator is broken. AND nobody is there to help me with my bags up the stairs. The lady at the desk later finds me halfway up the steps and helps with my luggage the rest of tge way, because she has a form for me to sign.
