The staff at this hotel absolutely lovely, particularly those in the restaurant. The restaurant was good and had some classic food which was great for kids. The room was really spacious which was great and it had a nice big bath. The mattress on the bed itself was probably the most uncomfortable I’ve ever slept on in my life in a hotel it was really saggy and hard at the same time and the pillows were extremely hard and uncomfortable too. Our son slept on the put me up on the floor and that looked more comfortable than our bed not want to complain about mattresses, et cetera, but I really needed to say this in this review. This was a convenient hotel for us, however because we were on our way to Scotland from London and it was exactly halfway. I wouldn’t stay here again but I am very grateful too. The welcome that we received from the staff here.

I have stayed previously over the years so have seen marked changes and not for the better Food quality is poor, many of the general areas are looking tired as was my room Cleanliness is average I was charged £10 for parking which I was unaware of when booking. For £100 per night not good value
