AC was not working in the room. Called the front desk and someone was there promptly to diagnose the issue. The gentleman told me he needed to replace a relay and said he would be right back. 3.5 hrs later, I called for an update as no one showed back up. They told me he would be right back up to explain everything. Another 30 mins go by and I go downstairs to find him sitting down talking with the front desk lady. Only then, after almost 4 hours was I offered a new room. I expressed my frustration that it took 4 hours to be offered a new room, told them I would be leaving and asked for my money back for that night and the night after which they refused. I have over 160 hotel rooms booked just this year through orbitz as my company does a ton of traveling (especially to the New Orleans area) and we will never be coming back to this hotel.

Checking in took awhile. It appeared some people were allowed to cut in line. I received an email to check in but I couldnt because the hotel didnt accept the Expedia confirmation number. While standing in line another lady said her room was dirty and the balcony chair was dirty. She said she wasnt coming back. It took the card reader at least three times to work. I put the card in the machine. It was approved/signed then told to do it again. Maybe it was bad timing for checking in, idk. It wasnt pleasant.

Hotel was excellent. Mia the night desk person, was so helpful. She gave us a list of restaurants and jazz clubs to visit. The hotel was located only about a 10 minute walk from Bourbon Street too.

Everything was OK with the exception for checking in. I arrived at 4:00pm and I the receptionist told me that I had to be in a waiting list with other customers to check in. They never called me up so I had to return late at night.
