My husband and I have stayed here twice now and absolutely love! Our #1 recommendation to eveyone. The staff and incredible from the front desk clerks to the restaurant staff all the way to housekeeping. Its right on bourbon st so you are close to the action. They have hotel staff at night ourside the doors to help you in and keep the trouble out. Its just an amazing experience!

The Royal Sonesta is a beautiful hotel in the heart of the French Quarter. We love the comfortable and quiet haven to come home to after the busyness of the day (and action and music on Bourbon Street). We have been here many time and will be back again soon. This year we had amazing service from the doorman who was so friendly welcoming us (and everyone else) back with flourish and the concierge, Joseph, who helped us book a great tour. A special thank you to Armani at Reception who made sure we had the right room for us. Armani was helpful and very professional. We appreciated Armani's help very much! All employees we came across we very helpful and pleasant. Our room was clean, comfortable. We loved it!

Great location, good pool area and bar, Patrick was a pleasure! Rooms good size, spacious, comfy bed. Wash facilities average, low pressure and took a while to heat up. Towels on the small side. No water provided in room, $10 at reception, buy at the store! Cleanliness let it down dramatically, we had to ask at reception twice for our room to be serviced.

Comfort in the Big Easy!
The hotel was clean and the location was very convenient. We at at both hotel restaurants and they were excellent. The staff was always helpful and professional. And we think the hotel is a fine value for money.

It would have been nice to know when we booked this very expensive room over looking Bourbon street with a balcony that there would be construction right in front making noise all day. The room was basic, the refrigerator didn't work. They said they would send someone up right away and didn't. Our food spoiled. They said they would credit back some funds but i have yet to see it. I don't think i would stay here again. The price was very high for what we did and didn't receive.

Everything was fantastic. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The room was superb. The hotel had an old world charm and elegance to it. If I had to complain, I would say they need a heater for the pool. It was freezing. Other than that I have no complaints at all. Would stay there again and again.
