Do not recommend. Staying here was giving them a second chance, and I will not be giving them a third. Room was not ready on time (hours late), and they blamed linens. This also happened the first time I stayed here. I had to make the best of it and get dressed for my concert in the lobby bathroom. Bedsheets felt like paper and was told no more linens were available. Very thin walls and squeaky room floors. Had our do not disturb sign on the door and an hour and a half before checkout housekeeping knocked and said “Just making sure you didn’t check out forget to take this off”. Hotel staff very bad at communicating. Overall experience with this hotel was not good.

The rooms weren’t ready until after 5p which caused us several delays in our evening and the hotel did nothing to compensate for this. The lines for front desk and service were insanely long and they didn’t have the staff to accommodate the guests.

Our stay was just for one night but I would absolutely book again. It was very convenient, our room was quiet, and the staff were all so nice, from the front desk to the employee who walked us to our elevator when we made a wrong turn. We didn’t have a chance to eat at the restaurant but breakfast was available at the coffee counter in the lobby and it was good and reasonably priced.

This was first time at this hotel. The staff we're amazing and friendly! Besides not having a window the room was even cozy for me and my wife! The convenients of walking around to see things around the area we're fantastic! When we return to New Orleans hope they have room for us 🙏!

This place used to be better…
Our room was not available when we arrived one hour after check in. The people working the front desk were pretty short and not very friendly. Our options were to wait for our room or take the room that was available. We chose the latter. The room was a first floor interior room, it was very humid in the room, one of the bedside tables was missing and you could see where it was ripped off of the wall. The towel hanger on the bathroom door was missing as well. It feels like the rooms are not being kept up with and the customer service has gone downhill.

Sadly this property was very disappointing. Great location and the building is eclectic and cool. But room was not particularly clean, big problems with housekeeping failing to service rooms every other day. Was told midmay thru our stay that I had chosen a package that didn’t include housekeeping! Which was news to me given the room had been made up earlier in the stay! After that had trouble and had to ask multiple times for room to be made up Staff seemed disengaged and we were having to ask for basic things like towels. Noisy area near nightclub was a bit problematic.

The overall hotel needs lots of updating. We were in room 384. And on Friday night there is a club/lounge in the alleyway outside of the room window and it played loud music to 3 AM. Did not sleep at all that night. The carpet outside in the hall needs to be vacuumed. It was dirty. Overall the hotel was not very clean and needed to be dusted and wiped down quite a bit. And when we first got to the room, the pillow did not have pillowcases. The plus side of the hotel were the updated bathrooms and the staff were very friendly.

Our stay during our anniversary was amazing. Everyone in the front desk was fantastic and the bartenders were spectacular. Highly recommend hotel and will be back to stay as the hotel is super convenient between French Quarter, downtown, and walkable to the trolley to visit the garden district. Room was clean, temperature perfect, and bed was comfortable. Every corner we were greeted from a hotel member with a smile, friendly encounter, and we felt very welcome. Thank you Old 77 for amazing service.
