One of the worst hotels I've stayed at. I had booked 2 KING rooms but ended up getting one QUEEN and 1 KING. The King room was on 6th floor and both guests couldnt sleep the entire night due to noises coming from upstairs (repairs or whatever). Both rooms didnt get any cleaning done or towels changed despite asking the staff and leaving voicemails. Zero value for money and front off staff are rude and obnoxious. pls dont treat customers like they're sleeping at your hotel for free. Orbitz should do something to prevent this from happening from hotels like this. I'm a VIP customer and Ive never had such horrible experience.

The hotel was lovely, they let us check in prior to 3pm which was great so we could leave our luggage and make it to the boat ride we planned. There was cabs right out front, the front desk was very accommodating to direct us towards the subway to get home. The only thing is that breakfast was advertised but was only coffee or tea, and the terrace was closed for construction. Other than that beautiful room w/ a pull out chair for my child to sleep on, more spacious then I thought with an amazing view. Would go back, really enjoyed our stay in an area that wasn't too touristy.

Perfect Weekend
Our go to hotel when staying in NYC. Amazing views of 911 memorial park, a very short walk to Battery Park waterfront, and just a short subway ride to Times Square. The hotel management and staff are very friendly and courteous.

Honest hotel, close to subway/metro and WTC
Great location, nearby the Red subway line, and close to parking if needed. For NYC, the hotel is great, only those are “NYC standards”, not to be compared to “rest of USA standards “. Meaning? Meaning everything is more narrow : entrance, elevators, corridors … and the room itself. To be expected, if you stayed in NYC often. Only negative : the bed I was sleeping in was literally 3-4 ft from the room door. Since our neighbor door was immediately next to ours, every late evening , every early morning, i was hearing their door closed quite loudly. It’s the way it was. Not the fault of the hotel, but the fact everything is narrow brings these unwanted situations. Not much you can do here…

Nice Staff. Close to the WTC memorial, and close to many subway entry locations. I felt safe walking all around the area; It was a good location. The complimentary water bottles with filtered water were a bonus. We were next to food establishments and a short walk to shops.

We stayed here in 2012 and loved it, so we booked it again in 2024. Problem is, it looks the same as 2012! It absolutely needs some updates. The wallpaper was peeling, the drywall had chunks missing, the bathroom electrical socket didn’t work, one of the nightstand plugs didn’t work, etc. The fridge was so loud we had to unplug it in order to sleep. This goes for the HVAC/AC too. It was so loud that I couldn’t sleep, but then the room was so hot without it that I kept waking up. We were also on the 2nd floor, overlooking a loading dock and garbage dumpster so we had a lot of delivery and truck noise too. I haven’t slept that badly in years.
