The room was clean. Housekeeping did a good job cleaning up bathroom each day although I wonder about the bathroom floors being cleaned between guests. In the early morning hours (around 1:30am?) one night the smoke alarms went off throughout the building. After 15 minutes or so an announcement was made that the fire department was investigating and we didn’t have to evacuate. Many people had already dressed and in the lobby. Eventually we got the all clear announcement. I don’t know if the alarm malfunctioned or if something happened to set it off. The worst was that the next day we woke up to no water In our room. Eventually we got cold water back and then hot water, but we were unable to take a shower when we wanted to. I was told by the front desk that there was a building wide problem with the water. I was given a discount for the night of $150. However, my son who stayed in another room was refunded for the entire night. This really doesn’t seem right at all to me.

Great Location! Great Customer Service!

Wife and I had a great stay here. Our only gripe was the room was a little small, despite the pictures shown on the listing. Service was great. My wife left some clothes behind and the service was amazing and we had them returned within a couple of days! Location is great for the theater, Central Park, shopping, Time Square. We had a wonderful dinner at Empire Steak House right next door!

The AC was not functional for most part of my stay (7 nights) and it was quite hard to sleep because of that. The staff moved me to a room that has AC on the final day of my stay which made the experience a little better at the end.

The property location is great as it's just minutes from Time Square and nearby to a lot of activities, train station, eateries, etc. However, this hotel has two sides one Residence Inn and the other Courtyard Marriott. I am accustomed to staying at Residence Inn but figured I would try the other side which turned out okay. We had to change to another room because the first one they gave us smelled like dog piss. It was obvious that the hotel was dog friendly........ which is okay, but can you sanitize disinfect and keep the room clean and aroma fresh. But as always, the check in process always smooth and the staff is customer friendly and courteous.
