I loved this hotel near the theater! The room was spacious, clean, a bit luxurious. Loved the tiles in the bathroom. It will most definitely be my go to in the area. Tons of bars and restaurants so near yet a quiet stay. Oh and the breakfast was fantastic! Especially the croissants.

We truly enjoyed staying here! The room was decorated so nice and it was very clean. Breakfast in the morning was such a treat! Coffee, juices, and several food options. The bar downstairs was fun and a great atmosphere. If you arrive before your room is ready, the desk will hold your luggage. I will definitely stay here again!

Charming Place to Stay

We loved staying at this charming small hotel. It's conveniently located near restaurants, a few blocks from Times Square, Broadway shows and the subway system. We were even able to get to our cruise ship port easily on our own via walking and a short bus ride. The hotel offered us large umbrellas when it was raining out. They are attached to the restaurant next door by way of elevator. Breakfast was included and in the restaurant. It was European style with coffee, OJ, fruit, oatmeal, breads, and hard boiled eggs. The rooftop patio is lovely and has a very nice view. Our room was clean, modern and very cozy with storage space and a fridge and counter. The bathroom had a large shower and more space than expected. Great place to get away from the crowds and relax.

What a FANTASTIC FIND! The entire space was spotless. We had a king room and it was plenty large enough and so very comfortable! Near enough to Time Square/Broadway to be walkable, but a couple of blocks away so it felt like it was out of the Zoo. The continental breakfast was impressive - a much higher quality than most hotels offer. We give this place a 10 / 10!!!!!

This is our second time staying at Hotel Scherman. It's our preferred location for spending a few days seeing various shows. The people are so nice. The breakfast is perfect.

I can’t say enough great things about this hotel. Clean , friendly, great neighborhood. We were able to walk to Madison Square and Pennsylvania station. It’s in an area with tons of restaurants. I would 100 percent stay here again.

Excellent hotel for a show and dinner!

My husband and I went for a quick overnight in NYC and this hotel was a great choice. Walking distance to the theaters and great food. Our room was well appointed, and very comfortable. It was too cold to hang out at the roof-top bar, but it was beautiful up there! We would stay here again.
