I never leave reviews but I felt compelled to do so by the staff. It was my 8 year old daughter’s birthday weekend and when I checked in the front desk made a make shift birthday bag from the convenience store. The morning of the birthday they left a birthday card in our room and also have her more goodies. Just such a nice special touch.

Property was fine— we were on the 21st floor. It was quiet and we didn’t hear other guests, however you could still hear street noise, not terrible though. The only oddity was a noise that occurred regularly in our room (every couple minutes). It reminded me of a cell phone notification on vibrate. My best guess was some kind of internal pump in the plumbing, but once you notice it, you cannot unnoticed the sound. Otherwise the stay was fine; parking was conveniently located next door and all staff were nice and efficient.

didn't really meet expectations
The staff was friendly and the room as clean and comfortable. But there was some visible damage to the inside of the door, and it had been patched up hastily with white spackling. The bathroom mirror has a big chip in it and the curtains were snagged. In the middle of our stay all the guest keycards were reset. They posted a notice in the elevators, but we didn't clock it and got all the way up our rooms before realizing that we were locked out and upon calling the four desk were told we'd have to come back down to have our keycard reprogrammed. It would have been great if they could have emailed guests to make them aware of the key card situation. Overall, I expected more from a hotel at this price point.

I stayed for 4 nights. Really enjoyed my stay, it’s very hard to find hotels that provide basic essentials in NYC, such as a microwave and coffee/tea maker. Walkable to many attractions and food options. Subways and buses close by. Overall, I would definitely stay again when I travel next time to NYC

I had a very inconvenient stay as the Wi-Fi, which was essential for me, wasn’t working. I informed the staff, but they only suggested I contact the Wi-Fi provider myself. Additionally, the TV remote wasn’t working, and they didn’t offer any alternative or replacement. Overall, I was disappointed with the lack of support in addressing these issues.

The bar next door is a night club and very, very loud. Our room on the second floor was a handicapped accessible room, which we did not require but were told was booked that way via Expedia. There was an alarm noise that rang throughout the night. Beds were not comfortable but would have been fine had the other factors not been a problem. I only stayed one night, thankfully. Could not have done another. When I expressed concern about the second floor upon check in, staff was not helpful and rather rude then assured me that noise would not be a problem. Remote for tv did not work.
