Second time staying at this hotel. It’s centrally located, rooms are clean and staff is very helpful. The city view on the upper floors is excellent! We had a great view all the way to the Statue of Liberty. Only negative is the wait on elevators at certain times

The room was in a perfect condition The staff is very friendly They have a Bar at the second floor, nice place to spend some time, friendly staff also. Breakfast was nice every morning, my only complaint is the closing time (9:30am) but you can get coffee outside that time, that is a plus. Front desk also super friendly TM’s. I work in the hospitality industry also, I use more Hilton than Hyatt, but congratulations Hyatt Chelsea NY. Good work.

Awesome price for a great value. The room, although a little tight and cozy, was very nice. The bed super comfortable! Breakfast was comprised multiple options which is nice for people with restricted diets. Front desk staff was so nice! Loved it, we'll be back!

The room is cozy and small, but has everything needed for a weekend in NYC. The only negative thing we noticed was the staff holding the elevators for themselves around peak times, increasing wait times on elevators for over 20 minutes.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly (even the guys who looked intimidating)! I arrived at 6AM on the day of check in. They were more than happy to hold on to my bags while I went to work (after they let me use the bathroom to change clothes and freshen up!) When I came back after a full day of work, they grabbed my bags and I was welcomed to a spotless room! I reached out to the staff to ask for recommendations for dinner and they said go upstairs to The Placery. There was an event going on so the main dining area was taken, so I grabbed a table near the bar. The bartender (who was my waiter as well) went above and beyond when he made my Arnold Palmer! Above and beyond because they didn't have any iced tea! So he brews some green tea, chills it and uses it for my Arnold Palmer! And he didn't hesitate when I needed a refill! Breakfast the next morning was pleasing, had everything you would expect and don't miss out on the orange juice! I came down a little later than expected but everything was fully stocked. The hotel location was perfect! Walking distance to my clients office, walking distance to Time Square, Empire State Building and Madison Square Garden! Plus, if you wanted to grab some of the local fare, there are a ton of places you can walk to! When I have to come back for work, this is where I'm staying!

Biggest problem with this hotel are the elevators, too few elevators for too many people Rooms are small. Get a room on the lower floors; you can then use the stairs.

Disappointing Experience Unfortunately, this hotel was not a great experience overall. The rooms were extremely small, with beds that felt far too tiny (not a room for a family of four). The bathroom was so cramped that it was difficult to move around at all, which made even basic use frustrating. The biggest issue, however, was the elevators. They frequently did not work, forcing us to walk up and down to the 11th floor multiple times during our stay. When the elevators were operating, they ran so slowly that it made getting anywhere on time nearly impossible. This became especially frustrating when trying to make it to breakfast. Despite attempting to get downstairs before the 10:00 a.m. cutoff, the elevator delays prevented us from arriving on time. To make matters worse, the doors were shut before 10:00, and there was no food left at all. Between the cramped accommodations, unreliable elevators, and poor breakfast service, this stay fell far short of expectations. I would not recommend this hotel based on our experience.

Probably one of the most frustrating hotels. Rooms are okay, but noisy. Must be the air conditioner or something but definitely disruptive. Bathrooms are small, but the views are good. It’s just a pain if you’re on a higher floor trying to leave.

The room was ridiculously small. The bathroom offered no privacy. The shower vibrated terribly on the hot setting and the television was broke for our entire stay. We had three suitcases and were not able to access the door and had to place them on the bed to navigate the room. Worst room I have ever stayed in.
