I called ahead letting them know I would pay the room when I got there and that I was about to board my flight to NY. After I had just told them that they ran the card I told them not to run because I was gonna pay in person. Because I the card didn’t go through they canceled my reservation. Then when I got there they told me they completely were booked out which was a lie because they later offered me a room. I honestly felt like they were trying to get me to pay more. I loved NY, but I would not book the same hotel ever again.

There were many flies coming out of bath room, which was disgusting for sure. We were staying in a different room on 3rd floor, where there was no fly flying by contrast. I have no idea why19th floor was this unclean

I was on 26th floor. Room was new and clean with supplies replenished daily. I hardly used the subway as most places were within walking distance. A place I’ll definitely look at booking again on my next trip to NYC!

Hotel was clean, had good water pressure, perfect for 2, the hotel was able to hold our bags for us for a few hours after check out so that we could enjoy the day before heading home. Rooftop area was spacious and had a really pretty view, my only wish was that it was open a bit later, everything else was perfect, all the reviews of people stating that it’s noisy or unsafe clearly haven’t been to NYC before

Carpet very dirty, room booked for three but on catered for two, can take 4 adults but only two cups, two towels etc. We did get more after request but if the room is a large capacity room why only cater for two. Checking out disappointing, multiple entries pre authorized on my card, nearly $2K on a $900 stay, i realize that it does come off the card in 3-5 working days but it takes up space on any available credit limit. No mention of security deposit by staff when checking in or booking, We shall see if the final bill comes to what was quoted on booking.
