We chose this hotel primarily for location, and that was the only really positive aspect of our stay. It is a convenient location. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed comfortable, but the room (at $500/night) was the smallest hotel room we've ever seen (even during a month in Japan), and the window opened into a shaft about ten feet from windows on the other side. The word that comes first to mind is depressing. The shower had almost no pressure, and the knob had to be turned (literally) about 450 degrees before we felt warm water. Adding insult to injury, I found a charge of $6.53 on my credit card after checking out. I called and was told it was for the two small bottles of water left out on the countertop in the room. Seriously, aren't those ALWAYS complimentary?? And after paying $1,000 for staying in the equivalent of a sleeper car on a train?
