The writing pad on the desk in my room had serious molld on the backside of it; my girlfriend spilled something & I had to lift it up to clean the mess; that’s when I noticed the mold problem; it was quite unpleasant…..

Location is fantastic. We had a great stay. The room was a good size and the bed comfortable. The room was very clean. Room could use an update. But otherwise a great hotel.

For NYC, this is a huge room. However, it could be updates. Why a huge desk. No mirror in the room but the bathroom. No microwave, gym with no treadmill but again, great staff. Awesome location. Would still do it again.

Last time I stayed at this hotel was 2019 and I remember it being a great hotel. However it seems like management may have changed since then or they just stopped caring. The lobby is stunning as always. But the rooms are lacking the care they need. In 2019 there was a mini bar with suggestive cute things, robes, etc. Today there is none of that. No mini bar, no robes, paint chipping in places, closets and doors are rickety and probably in need of some wd-40 at a minimum. For the price we paid, there are many other hotels I can think of off the top of my head that are worth the price. I wouldn’t come back here.

Second time staying here. The staff is great and very accommodating. Rooms are very nice and hotel is quiet. Everything is just a short walk away including shopping and eating. Will stay here for a third time soon.

This hotel used to have wonderful amenities. There were no options to rent a movie- no Minibars in the rooms- no Frette Robes- no fresh flowers- no concierge on duty- what happened to the cool dark blue paint in the hallways- bellman and a doorman- the martini bar- a restaurant in the lobby- there used to be fish bowls in the lobby with cool little beta fish- they used to play cool music in the lobby that created a vibe- what happened to this place?? It’s like staying at the holiday Inn express.. and at least at the holiday Inn they give you a free cup of coffee. !!!! Cheap water bottles - they always used to have a Evian!! This was such a disappointment The room 1406 - missing toilet caps- mold all over the slate!! The bathtub was all chipped.. totally nasty and dirty bathroom !!! USB outlets were not working.
