We liked everything about this hotel. The rooftop bar was a wonderful spot with clear views of the Empire State and Chrysler buildings. The bar/ café below was very good and had great options. Our room was dark with no natural light which can be a plus for some, but the kitchenette was a welcome upgrade!

Insects in the bathroom, tub was dirty and hair was on one of the towels. When trying to call room service instead of using the online ordering they never picked up. On my last day the power was out expect for the bathroom which was an inconvenience for packing/ charging my electronics. When trying to call guess services to let them know the button on the phone did not work - I had to go downstairs to let them know. Before my stay I called ahead to make sure I had a window view, if not I was willing to upgrade. They said yes but of course I did not. Also please let housekeeping know to wait for a response instead of knocking just once and opening the door. An asian lady did just that on 11/11 around 11:50 am in room 210. Overall I will not be booking a stay in the future with this hotel.

Had a lovely stay with my family. The staff were all so pleasant and helpful. The location is great as a launching point for exploring NYC. Quieter and more residential but still very convenient. Loved it.

Staff are friendly. Temp in room a bit warm, we've had to crack open the windows at times. The restaurant downstairs Take Care is amazing. Loved the food and service, we went 2x.
