I've stayed at the Marlton Hotel before, on recommendation of a friend. I find it charming, adorable and perfectly suited for a stay in NYC. The rooms are TINY but I prefer a tiny room that is well thought out, with nice amenities than a large room with no character. One of the best things about the Marlton is the common areas, the living room, the adorable bar and the gorgeous dining area. Perfect for business meetings/breakfast with old friends, etc. Love it.

We stayed here for drop off weekend for our daughter at The New school. What a wonderful stay! Charming lounge and rooms, wonderful staff, simple/easy breakfast, close to the school, good restaurants, and anything else you could want. Highly recommend and would stay here again in the future.

Nice place, understated
I was in New York for a two day business meeting nearby. The Marlton Hotel in Greenwich Village was a quaint departure from the ordinary. This hotel is a step back in time - small but clean rooms, old style fixtures and appeal, highly accommodating, friendly staff.

Cool, old fashioned property. No frills, but cosy and quaint. Rooms are small and without frills, but have everything for a short stay. Reminds me of small, old fashioned London, England hotels!

Lovely hotel in excellent location. Just around the corner from NYU, Washington Square and all the fun stuff the Village offers. The included breakfast was very generous and quite tasty, plus they serve until noon! The rooms are tiny, but that's how it goes in NY...
