Struggled to get a parking spot and the spots were quite small considering the larger cars over here in the USA. The ground floor lobby smelt of food. No A/C in rooms and got quite hot at times.

I was on the first floor. The room was nice, had all the essentials. It didn’t have AC, but that was fine on the coast. The issue was the ice machine directly across the hall. You could hear it clearly. It ran all night. It was impossible to sleep it was so loud. There was water running from a drainage pipe that was also incredibly loud connected to the ice machine. It honestly was the worst night of sleep (or top 3) I’ve ever had.

Beds were comfy and location is super easy to access. That’s where the positive ends roughly. The hallways absolutely reek of urine and the staircase furthest from the office is dingy and the worst of the lot. The thermostat doesn’t have numbers on it so you can’t tell how high you’ve set the heater (it was a brisk 50 degrees out when we landed). Parking is rough in even a mid size truck and I don’t believe there’d be enough spot if they were full up capacity wise. Should have stayed down the street for the exact same price. The floors were so dirty that I washed my feet before I got into bed.

I stayed at Motel 6 for a week in Newport since it was one of the cheaper options. You definitely get what you pay for, not bad, but not a 5 star hotel. It's in a great spot and if you spend most of your days out doing things it's probably the way to go.

Much better than the place i had booked in Depoe Bay. Would go back. A little weird there was a camper/rv site right behind the building but not a deterrent. Liked that there was a patio.

This is one of the best Motel 6 we have ever used. The rooms are spacious, clean and easily connects you to the main highway without the noise of passing vehicles.

I was greeted with a "be back in 15 min" sing. After 20 min wait, a girl that talks very little quickly checked me in... I had been in a vehicle for the last nine hours, The checking felt forced. She looked a little annoyed. At being there..

This hotel is bottom of the barrel. Arrived in the late evening, and the front doors were locked. Had to use the outside phone to call for someone to let us in and check in. It took a few minutes for someone to show up. The rooms were about as basic as you can get. The furnishings look like a thrift store's rejects, bunged up and not very clean. The TV did not work, (there was no cable box) and the fireplace did not work. There were no amenities except for a tiny bar of soap...that's it! The cheap laminate flooring, that was lifting up in places, did not look very clean. There is also an RV park out back which you get to look at out your window. The walls seemed very thin, as you could hear everything...not very quiet. Definitely not a quality hotel, and definitely will not be going back, I would rather sleep in my car.
