We loved that this property is located right across the street from the waterfront and promenade! There are plenty of restaurants close-by. We did hear music at night from a local bar - until about 1:30AM. An early check-in wasn't available. Lunch service and quality of food is excellent. Carpet in the room was well worn. Location from airport is about 15-20 minute drive.

Excelente localização, cama confortável e vista para praia muito bonita. Mas o prédio é antigo não possui estacionamento e o cheiro do hotel não é agradável, mas o pior foi o banheiro que tinha um odor horrível. Reclamei na recepção mais nada foi feito, passei 2 noites com cheiro horrível no quarto.

The hotel location is perfect across from the beach and close to restaurants and shopping. However, the room was very small and the carpet needs to be replaced. Our 1st floor room had a view of the roof of a shed in the back courtyard. The hotel did not provide washcloths, tissues or hair toiletries in the bathroom nor was there a topsheet on the bed...only the quilt. Luckily the location made up for all the cons.

Location of property was great. However the stench from the old worn carpeting in the room is deplorable. I find it unimaginable that of the 140 rooms you only have 1 sea view room without carpeting. I would never stay here again unless the room flooring is updated.

A true gem!
This is a beautiful place to stay close to town and Verdon Gorge. The staff was so wonderful and helpful in every way! The entire hotel is kept spotless. The decor is bright and cheerful. The spa with it's extraordinary views is so relaxing after a full day of hiking. Breakfast is first class and gets you ready for the day. We did not want to leave!

We had a great stay. The property has a classic feel and maintained very well. The location is one of the best in Nice- on the beach with easy access to where you want to see in Nice. Special thanks to Nicholas on the front desk staff who went above and beyond in moving us into the Ocean View room we had requested and was always offering help and suggestions. The rest of the staff was very friendly and attentive as well. We would definitely stay here again!

They don’t have an iron at the room. They don’t even lend an iron for 10 min to iron your shirt. There is a dirty ironing room with old and broken stuff including the iron table which you can use yourself but when I wanted to use it, someone was ironing many dresses so I couldn’t do it.

not bad but overpriced. not sure why they charge more than the rest, when it’s not more. we went to the beach and asked for a towel- they charged us a towel rental fee. that’s a first for me. no parking good view.

A lovely historical hotel in the best location on Playa de Anglais. We had a first floor room with a spacious balcony with room to sunbathe and take in the beautiful views. The only downside of this hotel was the very disappointing breakfast. The selection and quality of the food was one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. It was annoying having to search out cutlery, napkins, clean plates and wait in line for one and only functioning coffee machine each morning. The hot food selection was a challenge to say the least so I gave up after the first day. The mess left behind from guests attempting to cook their own eggs and pancakes was off putting to say the least. Breakfast was included in our package otherwise I would suggest you don’t bother.

Great location with friendly staff and comfortable furnishings. Our room was across from the beach club so it was loud late on the weekends but that is not the hotel’s fault. I would recommend this hotel!
