What a find!
We loved the Surfjack. What a fun little hotel ticked onto a side street right off the main drag in downtown Waikiki. The rooms were comfortable and cute. We loved the live music every night, the restaurant and coffee shop onsite and the friendly front desk staff. We even got to meet the hotel mascot, Jack the bulldog, during his meet and greet. The coffee by the pool in the morning was great, too. We would definitely stay here again.

Balcony was disgusting and faced the parkade and looks like it was never cleaned but the rest of the hotel was very clean. The front desk staff was less than sub par and one guy gave a lot of attitude when questioning the billing that he made confusing and unnecessary.

Not a fancy hotel, but a great stay! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Awesome location. So many shops and restaurants in walking distance. I had a rental car. No parking at the hotel, but their offsite parking was about a 6 min walk for only $10 per day. My only complaint is that the room doors close hard/loud. Even with that, I’d stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay here! The parking was nearby for $10, which was a big plus! The hotel room was beautiful and very comfy. The location was perfect in the middle of all the shopping I would stay here again, and definitely recommend.

Fantastic find. A beautiful boutique hotel within walking distance to Waikiki, International Marketplace and several shops and restaurants. Easy access to major roads to get you in and out of Waikiki. Great restaurant on site. Nice pool area. We will return. IHOP close by but I wouldn't bother going there. Poor service, lots of people waiting, several tables open or not cleaned with staff standing around chatting.

Check in was quick and easy. Staff was amazing- super friendly, helpful and genuinely happy. The pool was awesome and open late, which was great. We stayed in a penthouse room with an HUGE terrace/balcony. We had a great stay and will definitely be back time and again!

Fabulous hotel room. Great location. Easy parking with minimal expense of $10. Loved the pool and live music night. The performer was excellent. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped. The only improvement would be to improve the shower head. It sprayed in multiple directions.

Choose This Boutique-Local Hotel!
My stay at Surfjack Hotel was great. I choose a more boutique-local hotel rather than a chain highrise. As you enter the property you’re immersed with Hawaiian Vibes, the central pool with lots of seating surrounding lush greenery. Daily coffee from 7am-11am and a nice restaurant overlooking the pool. The front reception was very welcoming and held my bags as I arrived super early. When I returned to check in, I was upgraded to a Suite! Although this hotel isn’t brand spanking new, the room was comfortable, the balcony offered a nice table and chairs to sit outside, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom shower had excellent pressure. Thank you Surfjack for making my stay so enjoyable.

I love the surf jack, it’s my second time back there, and it is not my last. I love the atmosphere, the community aspect of the hotel, and the absolute Hawaii feel that that place gives.
