We were told the unit was to be “refreshed”, it was certainly at the end of its life cycle. Other units in our building were being worked on. The furniture was worn and showing its age, the carpets made our feet black, and we found empty beer cans under one of the beds. The microwave worked but made a lot of noise, the oven racks were too small to be used and one of the toilets intermittently ran after flushing. On the plus side the pool areas were very nice and then restaurants convenient.

Nice, but.
Fine. Pool, nearby restaurants were very nice. Emphasis on Holiday sales was greater than the Inn as a hotel. Meeting with a salesperson was a strong intro to the property; felt pushed hard to attend meeting. When I later realized it was not required, I tried to cancel within hours but was charged. It was a bad taste. I’m a Holiday Inn fan but not this one. Was it worth the annoyance for you to collect $50 from me for not attending your meeting? And because I didn’t go to your “tour,” I still had to figure out typical hotel info such as housekeeping, any amenities and property offerings. I learned all that from family who were staying in one of the condos, not from any Holiday Inn/IHG source.

The amenities for children look way better online. They hit you up immediately upon your arrival, in a sneaky way, to commit to timeshare activities while just trying to vacation with your kids. The food was pricy and meh. Room was nice and clean, very loud til 2 am most nights. Lazy river was the kids favorite activity. Nice having laundry and dryer right in the room. There’s no convenient vending for bottles of water or snacks upon arrival late, so make sure to stop outside the gate on the way in.

Worst experience ever
Check in was great. Fire alarms kept going on and off Friday and Saturday. I was given incentives for that. Received bill this morning and was over charged. Went to front desk and was refunded but got to wait three to five business day. Worst experience ever. Called the manager at 954 am on 10/27/24 and still waiting for Leslie to call me back

My family and I checked in on a Friday afternoon. I had to see 2 different people before my room key was activated. The last stop before activation was with a rep for a time share presentation. Be prepared to be asked if you want to attend a 90 minute presentation to earn $200 on site voucher for food and drink. If you say no to the presentation, you will also lose your $20 voucher you get a check in. The room bathroom items are very outdated and look dirty. Being able to pool hop and explore all the pools on site is the only high light of this trip.
