A week on the beach with friends
It is overall a nice place. The living room sectional was just not comfortable for me. I have a bad back and I did not have a real comfortable place I could find to set.

The living carpet was nasty, the cabinet door fell off in the kitchen, some of the lights switches didn’t work, front bedroom tv didn’t work, washing machine went out and took them 4 days to fix it, balcony chair was broken, lacking kitchen utencils and skillets, microwave didn’t have a glass rotating plate, the bar ice machine didn’t work, refrigerator was not cooling then two days later it froze the food in certain areas, the couch was wore out and torn in several places, black mold in the showers, this condo needs some desperate attention. The majestic resort was nice but the condo itself was terrible!!!!

Great unit and location!
We got an awesome nightly rate so I was a little worried that the unit wouldn’t be what the pictures depicted. But, I was pleasantly surprised that the unit was exactly how it was listed. We would love to stay here again!

Very disappointed
It plainly says that the price you see is the price you pay, NO HIDDEN FEES. It told me my total price, so I paid. I got a receipt afterwards verifying the total. VRBO charged my card with their fee, which was what it previously said on the screen. However, Emerald Coast charged me quite a bit more than what their total said. I emailed them once I saw the wrong charge on my card & never got a reply. 2 weeks later, I emailed again & got a reply that it was a credit card processing fee that they charge. That is not the price it showed when I hit book now & not the price I agreed to pay. You advertise as NO HIDDEN FEES, so there shouldn’t be a credit card fee added to the final total I agreed to pay. That is not right at all. They said it was 4% of their charge, but it was more than 4%. They said it’s in their terms & agreements that I signed the day AFTER I booked the room & had already paid through VRBO. That is not good business & not fair at all.

The living room furniture in the condo is not the same as pictured! A large L shaped couch and large black coffee table takes up way to much space and the dining room table is so large there is no way to use it comfortably! There just isn’t enough room for such big furniture! The kitchen is large which I loved but needs more silverware.The master suite was nice. There is water damage at the baseboards but I didn’t see mold. If they would change the furniture in the living room to something not as bulky, It would be much more comfortable!

It was the best view! We loved this condo! Very clean and the view was absolutely amazing! Check in and out was so easy as to normally have to go to front desk and get keys and all that and this place you have your code and don’t have to mess with any of that! It was clean and beds were comfortable! We go to Panama every year and will definitely be choosing this condo again next year!

no renovations done, mold on the baseboards, had a weird smell, carpet was disgusting, owner did not email back after being contacted, room with queen bed got really hot during the night and you couldn’t put the air lower than 70, door does not lock when you leave unless you turn the tiny lock above the handle. all of these things irritated my family upon arrival and it wasn’t the exciting freshly renovated and clean condo we expected we were going to be staying in

The room itself was ok. Had some damage.the location and view were very nice. Check out is to early everywhere else is 10 or 11am and the fridge sounds like it was on it's last leg. There is also a leak going into the master bathroom where the carpet ends going into the bathroom

Bring your cleaning supplies
Other reviews said there were roaches. I was terrified, didn't see these until after booking. We looked high and low, but thankfully didn't find any signs of bugs. However, you may want to bring your cleaning supplies, and spend the first night cleaning the entire place. We love the Majestic, but will not be staying in this condo again. I don't want to pay a cleaning fee and then have to clean the entire place when I get there. I always do a quick once over of most surfaces and bring my own bedding, but this was way beyond that. Looks like there has been flooding or serious leaks and they just tried to cover it cheaply. This is a landlord special room for sure. Couldn't get the living room TV to work, except to cast from our phones. So many rules, don't make fridge colder, which was not very cold at all, don't turn ac below 70, ridiculous. For the price, you should be able to stay cool and keep your food cold. The reviews about the dryer are correct, takes at least 3+ hours to dry towels, better to just hang them on chairs on the balcony. Full load of clothes took at least 2 hours. Master bed was horrible, sunk down in the middle. Just find another one...

I'm still waiting on my refund
When we got there, we found roaches all throughout the unit. I called the number on my reservations and she got us moved to a different/smaller unit. I was told on the phone that I would be reimbursed and I have yet to hear back about that! The new unit had dirty clothes in the washer, moldy dishes in the dishwasher, it was a two bedroom (I paid for a three bedroom) and the thermostat was broken. They did send a repair man and we were told it's been reported and the owner refuses to fix it. So we didn't have any air conditioning. This is our third time in PCB and we've never had any problems before. To top it all off, our son had an emergency surgery the day before we checked out. Not that it was anyone's fault...it was just a horrible ending to an already frustrating week. Now with his hospital bills, I could really use that reimbursement but I'm not able to get a hold of anyone! I will never book with Emerald Coast Destinations again.

DO NOT BOOK THUS ROOM. it’s is full of roaches carpet dirty. Mold in shower. Did not even look clean
This was the worst condo i have ever stayed in. We were there Oct 8 th thru 15 th When we arrived and walked in the condo it smelled of musky stinky carpet. After we looked around we started noticing roaches. We called and asked to be moved to another room but we’re told they did not have anything would send exterminator up which never showed up. The carpets are nasty the shower in master bathroom has mold all over the wall and shower door not to mention a bar of soap left in shower with hair wrapped around it. Baseboards molded just overall the worst ever. We called several times 7 to be exact and no one contacted us back. We emailed pictures to the company still never reached out to us. It was just very nasty. The dishwasher smelled awful when running is so we had to rewash our dishes before using them , the washing machine sounded like it was fixing to run out the condo door and the dryer sounded like it was full of water. So don’t ever book this condo even if your desperate. Sleep on the beach would be your better option.

Small but nice
TBH, it looks bigger in the pictures. It does need updating. There is a leak in the queen bedroom in the closet and mold on the floor you can't use the closet, but there is plenty of room for clothes bc it has a big dresser and night stand. The bunk beds are queens that was nice. The dryer will not dry clothes. My husband cleaned out the dryer hose it was packed full of lint. So it dried much better but it still needs cleaning up thur the wall area. The kitchen is nice has plenty of room for food. I would suggest if you plan on cooking like we did you would need a few more things to cook with, but if not it has knives cutting boards 1 non stick frying pan and 1 small metal frying pan. It needs a gallon jug so you can make tea or Kool aid for kids. The carpets are a little stained but not to bad. They have a new couch. We bought and left batteries for the remotes and plastic glasses for the kitchen. The master bedroom was ok the bathroom is big, but both sinks drains need some draino, and right under the sink on the floor the wood that covers the bottom of the sink kept falling off. There is a spot in the floor right before you get to the entrance of the bathroom that stayed wet. We would dry if with towels and it would be soaked again. I would bring extra towels to dry with if you have more than 2 or 3 ppl all and all it was nice just a few things need to be fixed and updated. On a side note both toilets worked for us. Of and just to make it easier for someone else. To use the TV in the queen room you have to point the remote to the little white box in behind the TV. Lol.... as far as the property you can play pool and ping pong for free, the pools are nice you can walk to tower 1 and the pool there is very nice. Everyone of the guards and staff was very helpful and nice. 🧡

Made lots of new memories!!
This condo was awesome! Despite the few dirty spots, it was overall such a great stay. Being so close to the beach was a big plus for us, and not being far from Pier Park and other attractions was also super nice. It was a little tight for 8 teenagers but we made it work. I would definitely stay here again, and I have recommend others to stay here as well because of how great my stay was!

Please take the reviews seriously before booking!
We stayed at this condo a couple years ago and loved it! I didn’t even read the reviews when booking this time because we were so pleased last time we stayed. I wish I had! The condo was very dirty. There were stains all over every piece of furniture and the carpet. There were no comforters on the bunkbeds or the extra bedroom. There was a leak in the closet of one of the rooms with a bucket catching the water so they clearly knew there was a leak and they had an industrial fan in the bedroom as well. The laundry room vent was also leaking. I called the rental company to let them know about the leaks. They sent someone out to look at the leaks and the man that came out said it was a building issue so he reported it to the building maintenance. They then came and said it was actually an owner issue and to call the rental company back and tell them. I called them back and left a voicemail then told the man when he brought us comforters for the beds. Nothing was ever done about the leaks, and there was mold forming from the leak in the laundry room. We DO NOT recommend this room or rental company. We are very dissatisfied in the conditions of our stay.
