NOTICE OF CONSTRUCTION!! Property wide construction starting Oct. 14, 2024, estimated completion date is June 6, 2025. Construction will be very loud at times throughout the project, including grinding, hammering, etc. Balconies will be inaccessible at various times during the project, balcony furniture will be placed in units when balcony work is being done. There will be periods when the units will be blocked from rental for some portions of the work. Schedules for project stages will change, pending weather. Came to High Pointe nearly 25 years ago when my kids were young. Planned this trip as a memory with our kids. Just as wonderful as I remember. The resort brought back a ton of memories and was perfect!

This condo needs deep clean, maintenance and paint job.
We have stayed at High Pointe for years, because we love the property. We have stayed in several different condos on the property, but our experience with this condo was quite different. Not only was is quite dated, but it was quite dirty. The carpet in the master bedroom had brown stains all over, the guest bathroom shower curtain was broken and thrown in a closet, there was food stains on the walls in the kitchen, the master bath and guest room has brown water stains on the ceilings, I don’t believe the dishwasher worked because we had to clean anything we used in the kitchen, the dryer stays on even with the door open, the walls are all beat up and scratched, the balcony floor is stained with large black spots, the beds are very loose from the headboards - we put pillows between the mattress and the head boards to keep it from shaking and squeaking, all the battery operated clocks are dead. Honestly, it was embarrassing having friends come over (from other condos on the same property). This place needs a deep clean, maintenance and paint job.

If you have any problems do not expect help. These folks dont answer their phones. The condo is very convenient to the beach and restaurants. Our biggest issue was that we could not get the TVs to work. We finally got it. The carpets are extremely worn and dirty.

Ally is awesome...unit not so much
Can’t say enough positive things about Ally who checked us in then had to go out herself and purchase a new bunk bed for the unit. She was so helpful and corrected the issue in the short time we were having lunch/at the beach. Thank you Ally! That being said this unit is in need of a deep cleaning and update of furniture, soft goods and kitchen appliances. It has obviously been well used and loved but it really shows its age and use (cobwebs on the light fixtures,dusty decor, stains on the walls, cracked/dirty tile floors, furniture missing pieces and worn, dented toaster) The location was great..really enjoyed the view of the gulf!

The unit had cobwebs in the kitchen, the master bath was very dirty and the shower curtain was mildew ridden. The bed in the master bedroom is horrendous, we tried sleeping on it for two nights then resorted to sleeping elsewhere, the mattress is terrible. We’ve been coming to high pointe for 20 years never had a bad experience but I will make sure to never book this unit again. The owners need to paint and deep clean this condo to keep up with all the other nice units.

Overall this unit met all our needs and more. Only critique is that we couldn't get the fan/light in the family room turned on. Also the bedroom TV picture had white lines all over it, even when playing a DVD. Aside from these very minor issues, I would love to stay in this exact unit again.

Needs some attention
High Pointe is such a great property which so much to do nearby. We had previously stayed at High Pointe through some privately owned units, but this was the first time through Wyndham owned property. I was somewhat disappointed by some of the finer details. The most noticeable difference was the quality of linens. They were the most coarse sheets I have ever slept on-- I almost went to buy sheets because they were so uncomfortable (they were same on all the beds). We had a few extra pillows, but no pillow cases for them, and the pillows in general were big and hard. The kitchen was not equipped as nicely as I had hoped. It was stocked well enough, but some of the most needed items were defective: one tiny camping style can-opener that wouldn't work, a small skillet was all scratched up, and one worn thin pot holder. The number of restaurants in the area is increasing but we still cook quite a bit, and I guess had been spoiled by the previous unit we stayed in. The elevator on our building wasn't working upon our arrival or most of next day. The ceiling fan on our balcony was broken. This particular unit needed some updates, but it was clean and we still enjoyed our stay. I wouldn't stay in this particular unit again, but loved the location in general.

Excellent location safe, convenient & clean
Nice complex, comfortable unit for our family. Bonus chair service and free bikes! Only item missing was a hair dryer. Would like extra pillows but we managed. Thanks for sharing your unit with us. If you are ever able to give feedback on Crabby a Steve's- tell him and his staff not to be so stuffy and Crabby. He is serving people on vacation that look forward to easy going relaxed service.

Our unit wasn't very clean, dishes were dirty in the cabinets. Furniture was dusty and we had to wash our linens when we got there. A nice resort but not worth the cost.
