Simple case of bait and switch. The hotel has two properties, the supposedly nice hotel that you see pictures of on the internet, and a run down motel across the street. The motel was not clean, felt gross, and was overall not at all was what was not shown in the pictures. Also there were bandaids, in the ceiling. In retrospect, we should have just called hotels.com right away but i didn't. That's on me. The price was not cheap, about average for pcb.

The only negative thing here is they told us the checkout is 10 am as they are understaffed and has too many rooms to clean. This is not guest problem.

The room was average for the area. Pretty clean overall, but the bathroom needs updating. The shower had very little pressure and the water never got even close to warm. The Tiki Bar that’s advertised was shut down, and the only thing offered in their lobby for the morning is coffee. The staff seemed overwhelmed and spoke to us very little, if at all. The hot tubs advertised on the site were also broken.

The bed was horrible the house keeping was terrible pool was dirty hot tub was dirty. Tiki bar and ice cream bar was closed room wasn't cleaned until we asked but then had to ask again for room to be cleaned and had to basically beg for toilet paper and towels very disappointed in this as this was our last vacation for the year would have gladly paid more for a better facility to stay at. These people need to get it together or they will be closed obviously they probably need to be if they cannot do any better than this.

After being here, I now understand why the reviews are all over the board. If you stay in the hotel that is on the beach the rooms are a lot better & not nearly as outdated as the property across the street. Pictures presented are misleading because across the street, which is also part of the hotel is very rundown, no view, no balcony & in need of major renovations. Gross old bedding. felt like the forgotten uncared for guests on the other side of the road. After two nights of suffering through, we moved over to the other side, which is the beach side & the nice pool & had to pay the difference. Unfair. We complained no one ever reached out to us, they are short-staffed. Mgr rarely seen, needs maintenance overhaul on both buildings. There is mold, mildew inside the rooms, both buildings. It’s getting great ratings because the beach is absolutely beautiful, nice outdoor pool, good music. Staff is friendly & a lot of the rooms have kitchen efficiencies, which on the beach side they are nice & fairly modern, on the other side, the a/c is in the kitchen & struggle, barely working. The curtains do not go to the ceiling nor the floor so you have sunlight coming in. Every 30 minutes in the night, there was a startling knocking sound in the wall. Toilet wobbled. In both buildings, a coffee maker, but no coffee, no filters, an ice cream shop, not open. Grills are janky. Parking sucks. Indoor pool is across the street & feels abandoned. “Promise” unkept. Wrong charges still pending.

I was skeptical when I saw the price, but this hotel was great! Staff was friendly despite being woefully understaffed, and everything was nice and clean! The only things I didn’t like were the lack of ice machines and breakfast. It’s a great location and the room we were in even had a full kitchen which I didn’t notice when booking! Beds were a little firm, and a/c was struggling, but I’d definitely stay again!

Rather old room. What I would call typical ocean vacation room. Beds are very hard. Shower requires two hands and Herculean strength to get it to turn on. When checking in I provided a different payment method than the one I booked the stay with and they charged the wrong card.
