My daughter and I travelled to Paris and stayed at Le Marceau Bastille for three nights. Front staff were very friendly and helpful when we needed advice on directions, and accommodating with any additional requests that we needed. Rooms were clean and the bed was surprisingly very comfortable! We walked most places but Metro is close and the train station isn't too far either. There was lots of dining options near the hotel and it was nice to escape the very touristy parts of Paris! I would definitely recommend this hotel for other Mother/daughter travellers, couples or families!

Les employés sont généreux avec leur temps et patient. Nous avons bien aime . Le seul inconvénient a été un party de maison qui s’est termine a 3:30am . Le bruit était fou dans la cour arrière . L’hôtel a bien essaye d’y mettre fin mais sans succès.

This is a great location to start your day to experience the local flavor and to explore the many wonders of Paris if a bit of walking is your thing. A few blocks away from the symbol of Bastille, and a few blocks more you will find Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower, The Louvre, the Latin Quarters, Gara de Nord station, and much more.

Housekeeping was very good Room was comfortable and clean. Only issue is smoking still allow in the inner courtyard which travels up to my room 209 which was very unpleasant. Seeing the hotel is non smoking they should not allow that. Otherwise breakfast was great n will come back again.

A good choice !
Our hotel room was v good, clean and comfortable and all the staff were very helpful. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise - not just coffee and croissants but also fresh fruit, cooked breakfast, cold meats & cheeses, baguettes, etc. The hotel is in a quiet street (except when they come to empty the bins !) and in a pleasant location.

Excellent choice overall for staying in the Bastille area. Walking distance to metros, endless number of cafes, bistros, restaurants, and to the Marais area. Ladies at the front desk are particularly pleasant and helpful in many ways, including securing taxis, dinner reservations, and tickets to certain museums. Room rates very gentle, also.

Lovely hotel on a quiet street about 5/10 mins walk to the metro. Only about 20-30 mins walk from Le Marais and Norte Dame area. Our room was quite big and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely come back and stay again.

Excellent hotel overall!! We stayed for 8 nights (October 2023) in one of their standard-ecolo rooms. The street where the hotel is was very quiet and we never heard our neighbours. Super clean and full of nice details, such as filtered water fountain, the robes and slippers, the tea and coffee tray replenished daily. Everything was in perfect working order and the attention by the friendly, English-speaking staff was top notch. Location is excellent, with two subway stations within walking distance or a 20 min. Walk to Notre Dame, for example. We definitely would recommend staying there when in Paris.
