We liked the location of the hotel. Very close to the Royal Palace and the national museum. It's off a very busy street so it can have traffic jam and hard to walk around during busy times. However the hotel itself is designed in a way that it insulates itself from the busy streets and noise with beautifully designed pond with koi fish, tropical plants, and a very nice pool. We tried both onsite restaurants and they were both very good. We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds. The room size was big but the shower and sink area was very small and not very well designed. Shower was small and there is no privacy when someone steps out of the shower.

Situated immediately around the corner from the Palace, national museum and waterfront the location is great. From the street the hotel is almost hidden however when you enter it is lovely with a beautiful pool area.

An oasis close to all the sights. The property is immaculate and the staff are exceptional. This ‘boutique style’ is a five-star experience. The pool is beautiful and refreshing, though this Canadian enjoys a cooler dip - others may not. There are wonderful cabanas with fans, electrical outlets for your devices and private steps into the pool. Sun worshipers can enjoy a chaise just opposite. The gardens and patio areas impeccably maintained. Numerous songbirds form part of the relaxing setting. The rooms are pristine, comfortable bed & pillows, a glorious hot shower. Internet is fast and reliable across the property. The breakfast is superb and lunch and dinner options at the pool restaurant were thoroughly enjoyed. I tried several local dishes, but also circled back for a pizza and cola my last night. Unfortunately I did not have time to enjoy their fine dining restaurant which also looked amazing. I regret cheapening-out on my room type and HIGHLY recommend spending a bit of extra money for a pool view room.

I loved my stay at Plantation. I was greeted every day by friendly staff who always made a point to help me. The food choices were excellent and affordable. The best part of the hotel is the tranquility of the spaces and privacy. It is located in the middle of Phnom Penh but offered a relaxing escape. It was also walking distance from many of the sights. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone thinking of staying here. I will come back again.

This is the 4th time that we have stayed at the Plantation and it never fails to impress. Having recently expanded to accommodate more guests it still maintains that air of serenity and is a real oasis in this busy city. Close enough to walk to the numerous restaurants and bars along the riverfront with plenty of available tuk tuks outside the hotel for sightseeing tours. The hotel itself is beautifully landscaped with a huge fish pond at the entrance, lush plants and tall palms around the 30m swimming pool. The staff are most welcoming and extremely efficient doing their utmost to ensure an enjoyable stay. The buffet breakfast in the restaurant near the pool is excellent providing a choice of Asian and Western cuisine and also offering good coffee and French pastries. There is also a good bar and a restaurant onsite for lunch and dinner. Many thanks to all the staff particularly the guy at the front desk who managed to retrieve my son’s iPad left behind in the taxi to the hotel. We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and look forward to staying with you again in the future.
