Great place for short stay
Hotel is in a central location, close to everything which was great given we were first timers. We had a partial ocean view room, the view was fabulous. Room was clean and perfect for 2 people. Beds were comfortable. Only drawback would be the resort fee at $40USD is excessive given there are not a lot of ammenities at the hotel compared to others. Would consider staying here again given its location.

The view from lanai is perfect. We enjoyed our stay. The only unfortunate thing is the noise of ducts or air conditioning from maui brewing.

Location location location!
Duke’s Alley is right next to the hotel where you can buy cheap souvenirs, and is also within feet of luxury shops like LV, Dior, Prada, etc. For food, restaurants abound: there’s Marugame Udon a block away, a Musubi Cafe Iyasume within walking distance, a great tempura place in a mall a street over, and Duke’s is really close. And best of all, you just cross the street and the beach is right there.

The outrigger was a comfortable property. The breakfast menu could be expanded and a list of things included with the property should be readily available - for example the Bishops museum was free with our key card. Only found that out by researching. Nobody offered any info. Also the city bus takes you to the airport- no one wants to share that information.
