From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the friendly staff who went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with amazing city views that made my stay even more enjoyable. I also loved the on-site dining; the food was fantastic and featured some great local flavors. Plus, the hotel is in a prime spot, making it easy to explore all the fun things Portland has to offer. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I can’t wait to come back!

Rooms were meh. Bathroom shower had some mold in the grout. The restaurant was amazing for dinner…didn’t get to swim in the pool. Need better blankets on the bed… they were thin. I hate that. I don’t think I’ll go back to stay at the hotel but the restaurant was worth going back to for dinner again.

No Housekeeping Despite Door Sign That Says Yes

I really enjoyed the Duniway. It's a nice hotel with large rooms, comfortable beds and modern amenities. Unfortunately, there was a mix up and the hotel did not provide housekeeping at all during my 3-night stay. For some crazy reason, I thought hanging the YES side of the card on my door meant I wanted housekeeping, but after returning to a dirty room again on my last night, the staff informed me that Hilton has a policy of not entering a room when a card is hung on the doorknob regardless of the message. You read that right—apparently a door hanger communicates to the housekeeping staff, that they are NOT to enter the room—whether it hangs on the "Yes" side or "No" side. You would think Hilton Hotels had figured out the Do Not Disturb sign by now.
