very comfortable bed but a very archaic a/c system that kept turning on and off all night. So called "breakfast" was very minimal. Very convenient to Amtrak station which is why we choose it, and would be the only reason we would go back.

The staff was veey friendly and the accommodations were nice. We enjoyed the breakfast and the location was a perfect location if you are visiting Bowdoin College.

This is a very nice, clean, New England themed property in the heart of downtown Brunswick. Rooms were well equiped and modern. Breakfast was more than adequate. The one criticism: the property strongly promotes, through posters, email, and text message, it's on-property restaurant. It appears to be quite nice. But when we arrived there we were told that they were unable to accept anyone without a reservation for dinner because they only had 2 servers on duty. Not a good look.

A bit yes to the restaurant, just ok to the hotel
This hotel is nicer than the chains, and also more expensive. The decor is nice, the room size average. The bathrooms need to be renovated; they currently have the old plastic tub/shower enclosure. The restaurant in the hotel is excellent, but be sure to make reservations. Not sure if we would stay here again, but we would return to the restaurant!

Loved this hotel!
We didn’t want to stay at the same old national hotel chain. The Brunswick was classy, clean, and very comfortable. But most of all, the attention and service we received was equal to a 5-Star hotel.

The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean, the bed was comfortable. The restaurant in the hotel was extremely good, but not inexpensive. The provided coffee and continental breakfast in the morning.
