Very comfortable stay
I loved how centrally located this hotel was. Pretty much anywhere in Old Quebec was a 15-20 min walk at most. Its also only a 5 mins walk to/from gare du palais train station. The service was very friendly too. As soon as I checked in, I was given a map and even a route for me to walk around Old Quebec and explore the area. I was also explained how to use the bus and the app for the bus. The room and bed were extremely comfortable. I really enjoyed the free breakfast delivered to the room in the mornings. It was a couple of pastries and some yogurt or cheese. I wish the room service for dinner was better. The "room service" comes from the restaurant Legende. The QR code for the menu in the room was out of date so when I called to order, I was told what I wanted to eat was not on the menu. What I did order was overpriced, mediocre, and very small portions. There are lots of other restaurants that had good reviews nearby though.

This is a lovely little boutique hotel just on the edge of the old city in Quebec City. It is named after the family that built it many years ago and it certainly has that family feel. Nice little perks like a breakfast that is delivered to your room every morning give it that special touch. It is easily walkable to all of the fabulous old town sights but away from the traffic and congestion that you sometimes get on the old town streets. If you want to go on day trips elsewhere it is easy for Ubers and Taxis to get in and out. There are some great restaurant options nearby and the galleries and shops are just down the street. Also close to the river where we enjoyed walking and cycling!

The staff was incredible. I needed to visit the ER. and Hardielle called for a taxi and took care of everything. On our return to hotel she greeted us we a hug and inquired how I was doing and if there was anything she could do.

We wanted a hotel that was out of the busy areas of the upper old Quebec but walkable to it and this hotel, although in the lower section of Old Quebec and required walking to get to the upper part fit the bill.
