My recent stay was a disappointing experience. The breakfast was not what I had hoped for; the waffle machine was broken, and the only option for sausage was turkey, which didn’t appeal to me. To add to my frustration, when I arrived for breakfast at 7:45 AM, the coffee was already out. The room itself had its issues, particularly the bathtub, which looked worn and in need of an upgrade. I also noticed that the pool was dirty, which made it uninviting for a swim. To top it all off, when I tried to use the business center, I was informed it was closed for interviews. Overall, I was not impressed with my stay and wouldn’t recommend this hotel based on my experience.

Exceptional Stay at SpringHill Suites Downtown/River Walk! I recently stayed at SpringHill Suites Downtown/River Walk and had an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that my check-in process was smooth and efficient. The room was immaculate, spacious, and well-appointed with all the amenities I could possibly need. The bed was extremely comfortable. One of the highlights of my stay was the convenient access to local attractions. The hotel’s location was also perfect for exploring San Antonio River Walk, with many key attractions just a short walk/drive away. The customer service truly stood out during my stay. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my requests and were always ready to assist with a smile. It’s clear that guest satisfaction is their top priority. Overall, my experience at Springhill Suites San Antonio Downtown/River Walk was exceptional, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an average not too expensive luxurious and comfortable stay in San Antonio Downtown/River Walk.

Our air conditioning didn’t work, it was just blowing air but not cold. I told the front desk and she just apologized, said there was no other room they could move us to. Our fridge didn’t work either. It just wasn’t cold. We were there for 5 nights and not once did room service come in and clean. I had to go down and ask for towels. I was also told parking was $28 Monday through Thursday and the weekends we were free. I was charged the entire time I was there. Definitely won’t be staying there again and do not recommend!

Upon entering the room after check-in I noticed there was a fresh stain and hair on one bed and hair on the other. I found a housekeeping employee in the hallway and notified her, she changed all the bedding out immediately and was very friendly! The AC was noisy so that was annoying. The front desk attendant was super friendly and gave us free parking pass when we checked in. Overall the staff was excellent but the. Cleanliness was not acceptable so I wouldn’t stay here again.
