It's a nice hotel with good costumer service. They upgraded my room after a slight miscommunication and they've been helpful with questions I've had. Sadly, the downside to my current trip would be the strikers nearby but they appear to be striking the bigger hotel chains... but I'm a tourist, not a local so I don't know what they've been thru. But overall, good hotel.

The rooms are pretty tiny, but everything is very ergonomically efficient and convenient, good quality, no issues. I especially liked that there was no daily cleaning service to worry about (I hate people entering my room or knocking when I am busy or resting).

So this was my first time ever going to San Francisco, and I’m glad I chose this hotel especially as a solo traveller. This hotel was within Union Square which is the peak of downtown, so you have pretty much everything around you from transportation, convenience, and dining. The only concern I have is that my room didn’t have a microwave or fridge, but if that doesn’t matter, then it’s a great hotel regardless. Just be warned, you may be awake from the current strikes happening at the bigger hotels near Hotel Stratford (e.g, Westin, Grand Hyatt) as they were there for the whole day everyday, but it didn’t matter as I was pretty much out most of the time.

Affordable, Clean. Updated small room. Perfect space for a person who doesn't plan on spending much time in the room. Prime location (10/10), within walking distance of many of the neighborhoods a tourist would want to visit and multiple forms of transportation nearby for every place else. Hidden gem for tourists. Only knock would be the lack of view (my room was on southside of building), but I got plenty of that when I got out into the City. Would recommend.

The staff were great. The hotel is very clean and well kept. They allowed me to check in early since the room was available. They had a huge selection of movies for viewing on demand. The location is excellent - in the middle of Union Square next to Macys. I really liked the hotel.

Very clean and tidy facility. The price was very reasonable for the location. The rooms are on the smaller side. However, this room is perfect if you are traveling for only a few days or are just needing a place to rest your head. Would stay again.
