My fiancé and I, along with several friends, booked three rooms for a wedding photo shoot. We requested all three rooms be next to each other on the same floor. During check-in, the receptionist informed us that only two rooms could be adjacent, while the third would be down the hall on the same floor. Since one of our friends had not arrived yet, we could not obtain keys for all three rooms. We decided to take the two adjacent rooms, leaving the third room on the same floor for our friend.
When our friend arrived to check in, the receptionist informed us that the room we had reserved for them was no longer available and that they would have to stay on a different floor. Despite explaining the importance of having all rooms on the same floor for our wedding event, the hotel staff simply apologized and offered a room on another floor, claiming it was larger. However, upon inspection, the room was not any bigger than the other two.
Adding to our frustration, upon returning to our room after a brief outing, we found that four rolls of toilet paper and the body wash dispenser had been removed, even though housekeeping had already serviced the room for the day.
First, he assured us that all three rooms would be on the same floor, and then he claimed that the relocated room was larger, which was not the case.
Overall, our experience with the Pali Hotel was disappointing, and we would not recommend it for anyone needing specific room arrangements for special occasions.
