Storm Darragh!
I arrived after a rather heart-stopping journey through Storm Darragh. And as I was checking in the power went off. There were a few refugees from the storm and staff who couldn't get home after their shift. The kitchen was in darkness and powerless so no food available but the bar did stay open! The staff were cheerful and helpful finding a duvet to wrap up a chilly lady. True community spirit at it's best!

Nice stay, room nice and clean with good facilities. Mixed review within the family regarding how comfortable the beds are. Shower didnt stay facing up so it was awkward. Room was a good size abd breakfast was nice and we would stay again.

Good and bad for this really lovely place.
Bathrooms are badly designed. Red hot towel rail right in front of toilet, burned my arm when turning from toilet to sink as bathrooms are very small. Beds are amazingly comfortable. Reception staff on saturday afternoon into night were fabulous. DOGS IN RESTAURANT should not be allowed, not everyone likes dog everywhere! Especially in this quality of hotel.

Comfortable hotel
We stayed here prior to a wedding locally. The staff were excellent and could not have been more helpful. The room was very clean with a huge bed although the bathroom was small. We had an excellent two course dinner and the full cooked breakfast was also very good. This hotel represents very good value for money. We would stay there again.
