Woodlands was the best hotel experience I have ever had. I recommend a streamside room. Our balcony allowed us to view a beautiful stream with woods behind it. We watched ducks, and it was so relaxing. The room was spotless, comfortable and spacious. Monday through Friday, they offer a free hot breakfast, which is top notch. We happened to arrive on a day when they had a customer appreciation barbeque. It was free to guests. The hotel was beautiful, and had a Keurig coffee maker in the room. Being a coffee lover, this was really appreciated. Employees were so friendly and helpful. All in all - a wonderful experience!

Outside bar was not open after we were told 5 pm on a holiday weekend very disappointing. Also bar inside only offered beer and wine during the day and then at night had limited liquor and no limes or lemons. Closed super early and they discontinued the shuttle to the casino. For a holiday weekend it was not good. I have stayed there so many times not sure I would go back it

I’m booked through Expedia and I was given a room with room temperature for hot water. I went to the front desk and complained. They told me they have problems with the rooms in that section of the hotel with hot water. They could not move me to another room unless I called Expedia. I called Expedia and they moved to a proper maintain hotel. The room was very dated. The mattress was a worn out spring time mattress, I later found out the family who had owned this property for many years recently had sold.

This hotel was clean and the room was ok too. Nice indoor and outdoor pool. The staff at first desk had no personality but maybe she was having a bad day. I also was informed that they have a shuttle to and from casino but they don't do that anymore according to front desk lady.

I’ve been coming to this location for years and I’ve seen quite a decline in the care for the property. The bathroom door didn’t close all the way and it was very hard to open as the door slides, tvs are outdated. Remotes show as having Netflix, but there are just basic channels. Housekeeping does not come in, the balconies are falling apart. Our balcony floor for was slanted making it hard to walk on, from the balcony you can see many balconies in very poor shape and they are all in despite need of paint. You pay more to have a balcony and they are becoming unsafe and in need of major repairs. Most of the outlets didn’t work. It’s a shame because it’s a gorgeous property and location, but they put no priority in updating it. I will be looking for a new hotel next time I travel to this location.

Unfortunately our stay was not as expected. Got stuck in the bathroom. Door got stuck, thankfully my husband was there and had to kick it to open it. We had room 148 which was closest to stairs of nightclub. The guests at the night club flowed into hallway outside the door and didn’t get back to sleep about 3:30 am. At check-out, receptionist said I should have called, but there aren’t phones in the rooms and honestly, I didn’t know what I was going to walk into at midnight outside my room. She said they would have shut the doors They couldn’t compensate the stay because I booked it online.

It took over an hour to get patio door open, TV to work properly, the pools are not chemical treated properly, no Van service for Handy cap elders. And no answer for why it is not done.ghis was a good place go but needs a lot of attention.
