I recently had a terrible experience with this hotel in Georgia. I traveled from New Jersey and was shocked to find that the hotel did not have my reservation, despite booking through Expedia. Expedia was extremely difficult to contact, and after hours of trying, they could only offer me a room at another hotel an hour away from the wedding I was attending.
I ended up staying at a subpar place because all other decent options were sold out. It's baffling how a business can operate this way without having emergency accommodations available. That was just the first night.
For the following five nights, despite assurances from Expedia, my reservation was still not processed. I had to pay out of pocket to stay there. After speaking to multiple representatives at Expedia, no one could help, and my reservation was never pushed through to the Hampton Inn.
Expedia, you seriously need to fix your systems. As someone who frequently books getaways, this was my first truly awful experience. The anxiety of potentially being without a place to stay and the lack of resolution from the company I trusted was incredibly disheartening.
