AC was broken - did not cool room and was noisy. The beds are doubles, not queens. Curtains were broken. Window screens were not in place. Continental breakfast was a terrible - cold crossonts, watery oatmeal, no yogurt that was advertised, fruit provided was apples no tropical fruits. Very disappointing breakfast

Hilo Hawaiian is ALWAYS amazing! Especially for Kama'aina families. We live on the Kona side and visit Hilo 2-3 times a month for the drag races that my daughter competes in. We LOVE staying at Hilo Hawaiian, affordable, great service, friendly staff. Mahalo nui!

The cleanliness wasn’t there, a lot of hair within the bedding. The fridge wasn’t getting cold and then we got locked out of our bathroom, not sure how that happened. The staff are amazing!!

Our overall experience was wonderful, in the first place I would like to mention the very friendly lady at the front desk who greeted us. Our room was unexpectedly spacious with two queen beds with partial ocean view. Have to admit that the hotel in general a bit of outdated but clean and charming and absolutely worth its price.

A nice place along Banyan Drive, right next to Liliokulani Park and Coconut Island. Nice place to stroll at sunrise or sunset. Also across the street from the golf course. I didn't go to the restaurant or pool, but did go to the bar to have drinks. They had nice live entertainment. Front desk workers were polite snd helpful! Room was clean and was as expected. I would stay again when visiting Hilo!
