Very good

The hotel is spacious, comfortable, nicely furnished, with car park within the parameters, and with a great breakfast. Its a gorgeous little place and so quiet and luxurious. I would really recommend to stay there and for more than 1 or 2 nights.
The hotel is located off the beaten track and was a little difficult to find at night with a satnav (also I couldn't get any phone reception locally) - so take some good maps and arrive by 7pm if you can as this is the hotelier's preference!
A lovely couple of days spent at Burnthouse Farm. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and hospitable. The breakfast was excellent, really fresh and cooked to a high standard. I will be recommending this lovely B&B to my friends.
Absolute waste of money - host as rude. Room was dirty - didn't half things supposed to on booking confirmation. Had to pay cash which booking did not state - wouldn't recommend.
Friendly lady that runs the B&B. We got a friendly welcome and she has what it takes to be great. We got the family room. It was slightly packed and needs to be renovated and cleaned (there was spider web in some corners).
Breakfast okay. We got the traditional full English breakfast. They all look the same. Some innovation in the breakfast menu would help to step it from the crowd. 'Pain doré, waffles or crêpes' should be added to her menu.
Burnthouse farm oozed appeal the minute we stepped through the door. Lovely clean rooms with character. The owners bent over backwards to make us feel welcome as welcomed us as if part of the family, including the 2 dogs, chickens and horse. It was lovely to have a freshly made and delicious breakfast every morning. The swimming pool was warm and we had the opportunity to sunbathe after the swim on the provided sunbeds. There was plenty of parking outside and facilities were in a good position to see the sights of Somerset.
I booked this B&B specifically so that I could leave a day long conference in Bristol and check in late that night (after 11pm). I asked the B&B by email 3 times to confirm that I could do so. I also phoned twice and left a VMS. The only responses I got ignored my question and stressed that I had not provided a valid credit card. I had used the option to pay on arrival rather in advance.
I left further messages to state I would arrive late. I arrived late and stood outside in the dark unable to get into the B&B (which is in a rural area). I tried the door twice and phoned. I got an answer phone and no further response. With no other choice I had to drive on looking for alternative accommodation in an unfamiliar, rural area.
I raised this with the B&B afterwards and got a brief response stating that they were in and waiting for me. So why didn't they open the door or answer the phone?

Stayed for one night while visiting a friend.
Nice setting but room/s were average. Could have brushed away the cobwebs or maybe this was just to add to that being in the country feel, along with the musty smell. Breakfast was ok, not the best quality but plenty of toast!
hotel in pleasant location, host friendly and accommodating, especially attentive to granddaughter, opening the swimming pool outside normal opening hours so that we could enjoy it at a time to suit us. The main problem for me was the lack of en suite facilities which unfortunately meant that we had to go upstairs to use bathroom facilities. Would only return if could guarantee en suite room
We were very pleased with the facility and location. There are 2 local pubs within walking distance, with very good food, not just pub food. Owners were very helpful, and facility was very clean. We added on an extra night, and would stay again.
From the minute we arrived to the minute we left the hosts made us feel welcome. This was our first family break away with our son and this will be a fantastic memory for us. The room was lovely and comfortable and the breakfast was amazing! Nothing was a problem for the hosts and they were wonderful with our 6yr old. He loved the horses and ducks. We would recommend Burnthouse Farm and we hope to stay again in the future.
Jack met us and showed us to our spacious and comfortable room. The breakfast was fantastic, home cooked with local produce and plenty of it. parking good and sat nav. found it easily in the dark as well!
