The Marion Motor Lodge is wonderful! In the past, I stayed at the Bayfront Inn and it was terrible. I had vowed never to return to the area. SO HAPPY TO FIND THE WONDERFUL MARION MOTOR INN!

Loved it!
We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel has a beautiful view and the sunrise in the morning was one of the best parts. It had a very convenient location and we were able to walk everywhere. Restaurants are just a few steps away as well. Bedding and towels were fresh and clean. The shower was huge and we had great water pressure.

Room was nice and completely remodeled! The only down side was the old window unit air conditioner barely cooled off the room, and the shower! The shower head had little to no pressure and could barely bathe in it. Overall a nice hotel.

The room was very pleasant and comfortable. But the unimpeded view of the Bay was exceptional -- especially for watching the sunrise in the morning. The hotel is well-situated for walking around the historic old town and the Castillo. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast, but there are many restaurants nearby so that's not a problem. One thing of note: I had to cancel my booking midway through to get home for Hurricane Helene. The staff was incredibly helpful and diligent in making sure that all of the issues with this last-minute change were handled properly. I'm very grateful. When I come back to St. Augustine (after hurricane season) I will definitely book a room here.
