‘Sea2Ski’ is under new ownership as of March 2023 and has received a facelift! This 4BR/3.5BA family-friendly vacation home is the perfect place for your next family vacation.

Freshly painted walls in soothing hues and updated laminate flooring throughout will welcome guests with a cool, coastal vibe. Special attention was given to updating electrical, lighting and outdoor spaces to enhance your time spent outside. A whole-house water filtration system has recently been added for safe and fresh drinking water and soft water for bathing and washing (Dec 2024).

The first living level finds you in an open dining and living space with high ceilings and abundant natural light. The living area offers fresh white walls, a large Smart TV and access to the covered deck with patio lighting and lounge seating to extend the living space outdoors! Sorry, the fireplace is not available. A second sitting area beside the dining space is an ideal place for conversation or to relax with a good book. The dining table seats up to 6-8 and a wet bar with sink is just beyond the dining room along with the laundry room w/ a convenient ½ bath.

Preparing local seafood fare will be a breeze in this updated kitchen, supplied with brand new stainless steel appliances, dinnerware, flatware and drinkware. With plenty of counter space and a separate island, the entire family can work alongside each other for every meal. Cabinet space is available for pantry storage for your stay. The ultimate in convenience, both a 12 cup standard coffee maker and single cup coffee maker are available!

Just past the living room is a spacious master bedroom with a private bathroom. This bright space with plenty of natural light boasts a comfortable King size bed with new mattress, 2 closets, a large, flat screen TV and access to the covered deck. An adjoining bathroom finishes this private space with double sinks, a large garden tub (jets not available) and separate shower.

Upstairs are 3 bedrooms and a hallway overlooking the main living space. The first of these bedrooms has a King bed with new mattress, flat screen TV and private bathroom with shower. A second bedroom with a trundle bed (2 twins) has access to a jack-n-jill bathroom w/ bathtub. The third bedroom with Queen bed and new mattress, has a flat screen TV and access to a private sundeck with stairs to the lower level, a perfect place for counting stars or lounging in the sun.

Shaded parking is available and a separate "chill space" with TV and lounging is a great place to relax when coming in off the beach or while grilling on the park-style charcoal grill. The main entrance in the carport gives easy access inside the home while staying covered on any rainy days. Also located in the carport are a picnic table, fish cleaning table and sink as well as a hot and cold enclosed outdoor shower updated with new fixtures.

A convenient beach path is located just steps from the home and leads to a community beach boardwalk. Just a short 4 ½ minute stroll along the nature path finds you with your toes in the sugar white sand! An alternative route is available along the paved residential street of Azalea Drive. And, as a guest inside St. George Plantation, you may enjoy access to two community pools, clubhouse and tennis and pickle ball courts!

Surrounded by local vegetation and located on a large corner lot inside St. George Plantation, this area on Azalea Drive is largely unbuilt which means few homes and quiet streets, a perfect location for families that enjoy privacy on their vacation.

We look forward to welcoming you and your family for your next beach vacation!

Great place! Great stay!
We had am amazing time at Sea2Ski. The new updates were incredible! We had five, including three college-age children and still had plenty of space. It was a easy walk to the beach and there was always space available, which was a nice contrast to the public beaches at SGI. The property managers were great to work with and went above and beyond to see that we had everything we needed. We can't wait to go back.

Wonderful vacation home
We fell in love with St George Island plantation, the bike paths all around were so nice and safe for our kids, and with the free beach gear included I would highly recommend getting bikes. The house was beautiful and well stocked for our large family. Plenty of room for everyone. The beach path was just a short walk and really easy to pull our beach wagon. Love cotton candy and will definitely be back.

Fantastic property offering many amenities!
Our family stayed at Cotton Candy over fall break with our three kids, my brother’s family, and my parents and loved the house in its entirety! We were a short walk or bike ride to the beach, pool, tennis courts, and pickle ball courts, and we were able to picnic near Nick’s cove and kayak in the Apalachicola Bay watching pelicans catch fish and even one small plan take off from the airport nearby which was an unexpected treat! The house had all that we needed for cooking, cleaning, games, and beach gear and would definitely stay at Cotton Candy again next time we visit the uncommon Florida 😁

Could have been better
The outside of the home was nice and appeared as it did in the photos. The master bedroom did not get cool with the air conditioner and mattress was extremely uncomfortable as was the sofa in the living room. The dishwasher did not clean the dishes well and in my opinion needed to be updated as well as the microwave, which was 20 years old. Coffee pot was old, so old that it was burned on the bottom. Utensils and pots and pans were put away dirty and greasy. Had to wash them before we used them. The house was not in the best location. I would not choose it again. We have only stayed in the Plantation as we love the privacy of it. We did enjoy the beach and the 2 pools. Those were amazing!

Beach Family Vaca
We had a great stay here! It was very quiet and nice on the beach. Barely anyone was there and we all had lots of space to spread out! TONS of dolphins jumping and lots of sting rays playing in the ocean! (Shuffle your feet!!) For someone staying here I would be very observant of the amount of stairs to the upstairs as well as to the beach. The walkway is VERY helpful, but still have stairs. It was also wonderful to have bedrooms with so much light, but it was hard during the kid's naptime to have a darker space, so have the kids play extra hard! The house itself was nice and functional. The furniture inside and out was pretty old and could use some love/replacing. (A deck chair broke while someone was simply sitting in it.) There were some cobwebs in one of the bathroom windows. This is silly, but there was only one small pillow per person for all but one of the beds in the house. We had the water heater go out while we were there. We called the rental company and they had someone come to check things out and repair it that same day. Took care of it immediately! Great customer service! We also rented some gear that was REALLY nice to have. Bikes were a bonus to us, but fun to ride along the pathway and check out the beautiful houses! The house also had some fun beach gear and sand castle making things that seemed to be left by other guests. Those were nice too! I would definitely make sure that if you decide to go out to eat on the island that you call first. Many places had various and changing hours. The St. George Island Facebook group was helpful in figuring out what options were and what was open and closed as well. One night we went to 3 different places before finding an open one. All in all, we had a great stay. Things listed above were all pretty minor things that didn't effect our stay much, but might affect others more. It was a lovely place and we are very thankful for the time we spent there!

FamilyBeautiful property, not kid friendly
This review is based on all the things I wished I would have read when planning our trip and renting this property. We stayed as a family of 7 the end of may. We have 5 kids 12,10,8,5,2. This property was exactly what we were looking for location wise. Quiet, away from everything, yet close to the beach. It’s about 1/2-3/4 of a mile to the beach. SUPER easy walk through the path or in the road. We love the plantation community. The bike paths are amazing and well kept. The pool was BIG, clean and well maintained. The house it nice. The kitchen was well stocked. The furniture was a little run down. The decor is NOT KID FRIENDLY!!! They glass and ceramic things sitting everywhere. Just at eye level. The tops of the side tables and coffee tables are all glass. And the entire main level it decorated in topless mermaids. There were games, puzzles, and a high chair to be found in the closet so they know kids will be staying....it’s just not easy for parents to stay as hyper vigilance in necessary. The bedrooms are nice size. Beds and pillows are decently comfortable but not luxury in any way. More like super 8 motel luxury. Make sure to plan for doing laundry as there is only one towel and wash cloth person. In the kitchen there was 2 towels and 2 washcloths which we didn’t find to be enough. In the listing there was not pictures of the showers. Know that if you are a bigger person you will need to shower in the one bathroom upstairs that has a tub shower combo, as the other two showers were only about 36”x36”. So really small. We never did find WiFi and none of the TVs were connected to WiFi but there was cable and the main tv had a DVD player. Outside the house the decking boards are old and splintering...WEAR shoes!!! The beach gear that was left at the house was rusted and mostly unusable. The property management was attentive to our needs and helped quickly when an unusual problem arrived. We also used the beach gear credit and that was SO nice and a flawless system. Our gear was there when we arrived and picked up the day we left. I would highly recommend renting gear. Something to note about the area is that there are only small grocery stores within a 50 mile radius..while they had basics produce was hit or miss and mostly a miss HIGHLY recommend bring that in with you before you get settled. Overall would we stay again?Absolutely... we would just better know what we were getting into and pack accordingly.

Although not right on the beach, the surrounding property was beautiful and the walk to the beach was a very easy 3 minute walk. Also loved the bike trails throughout the neighborhood. A Pleasant Experience
This is a lovely, well-appointed house that I would rent again. Jamie, the property manager, was very nice and attentive. I would gladly stayhere again? A few items that might be easy fixes: 1. The refriferator door does not close correctly, and keeps popping open. 2. The shower door in the queen room at the top of the stairs does not close completely. 3. In the same room as above, there is a constant hum that kept me from sleepig well, as if a generator is running below the room. 4. Fellow guests said the other queen room bed was uncomfortable. 5. The ice machine is not functioning correctly. 6. I'm not sure how it happened, but water faucets appear to have been installed incorrectly, so that they work in opposite directions. 7. A gas grill outside would be a nice addition. 8. A wooden step on the back stairs is broken. 9. The ceiling fan in the sitting area by the door out to the eck make an intermittent annoying clicking noise. 10. Some throw pillows for the sofa would be nice.

Best beach vacation yet
our vacation at cotton candy was great. The property management was great to work with. They called when they had questions and responded quickly when I had questions. The property itself was great. The location on the plantation gave us plenty of elbow room. We could see other houses, but it was very private. The walk to the beach was seriously 2 minutes and a great little trail. I loved the decor in the house. It was very well arranged and comfortable. Being on the plantation was awesome. There was very little traffic and lots of bike/ walking trails. The pool areas were great. Well landscaped. We rented bike from vaykay and got a discount because of the property management company. Bikes were not cheap, but well worth the expense. This company delivered and picked up also. A huge plus. St George island was a great place to vacation. The area on the mainland is very rural. The closest Walmart ect are 50 miles away. There is however everything you need, it just takes a little more adventure to find. Lots of history in the area and state parks ect. The beach is just wonderful and so close to the house you can make several visits in a day. I’m grateful I still have 4 kids at home so I had an excuse to rent this 4 bedroom house. It had plenty of room for all and we even put together a couple of the puzzles that were there. Oh, and I loved the cook books! I will be ordering the hor derve cook book. It was great. Thanks so much for sharing with us. We loved your space.
