The rental location was perfect for access to beach! Step out the door & literally walk onto the beach. The rooms were perfect for adult couple & 2 teens! Walking distance to restaurants! I would stay again!

Clean Property. Great Location.
We booked Spring Break late and were happy to find Driftwood Cottage on VRBO. We rent a ton, so this review is in comparison to others we've stayed at and would have been a 5 if not for this stuff. The rate is pretty high for what you get, paying for location because you are a few steps from the beach and a few blocks from restaurants. The pictures are either old or from a similar unit, but bathroom (shower) picture is not accurate, they are directionally correct. The unit was very clean, but had a damp musty smell to it that we couldnt quite shake even turning up AC (might just be FL). It is pretty noisy when people are in the unit above walking around and as ground floor unit, you have to always have the blinds closed becasue people walk directly at eye level along length of unit.. The pool area furniture is getting very worn and could use a refresh, but the small pool was nice to have after a day out. JR and Susan were responsive, but we found communication and payment confusing with Evolve property mgmt and we didn't appreciate a $100 fee to check in/out early to accommodate for cleaning. Plus, all communication comes from Evolve, and it isn't exaclty clear, so we had another couple walk into our unit out of confusion. It's a nice area, but there are a ton of rentals and resort options. It worked for myself and my daughter booking late and we loved the Clearwater area, but we will likely try a different option next time.

Very nice reno of an old beachfront property. Both beds comfy but the guest bed is very squeaky. Slept alone and just turning makes sound. Very responsive management and location great for beach and very easy walk to restaurants and stores.

The proximity to the beach was outstanding! This place is also a short walk to the main strip of restaurants and shops. You can’t beat the location. Perfect size for our family of 3 but you could easily sleep more.

First time to Clearwater
Pros: The beach house was almost right on the water! Easy access to the beach and to all the other fun sights. The house was clean and nicely stocked with everything we needed. JR was incredibly nice and accommodating. • The pictures of the house online is not actually what is there in real life. The living room furniture is different and there is a twin bed in the living room. Cons: The house was incredibly hot, we had the air turned down, all ceiling fans on, went and purchased more fans and was still sweating. •All in all we had a good time!

Great Beach location
We very much enjoyed our stay at Driftwood it is like 150 ft from the beach and within easy walking distance to restaurants and stores The cottage is clean and there is plenty of room for 2 couples plus . Kitchen is well equipped with whatever you will need for cooking and the beds are comfortable. And the new A/C and ceiling fans keep the place cool in the Florida heat. I would stay here again and hope to as soon as time allows😊

Nice to park and walk to everything! It would have been helpful to know that the kitchen was so well-equipped —- full size refrigerator, new toaster, coffee pot, and Keurig. Steps to a beautiful and quiet beach, compared to the public beach.

Easy access to everything
We were looking for a beach location for our family of 5 and this was the perfect fit. Super easy to get to the beach, easy to get to restaurants and shops. Sleeping arrangements were easy with a twin in the living room, a twin trundle under it, and a full/queen in the two bedrooms. There were some beach things to use, but the umbrella and one of the chairs weren't great. Ended up just folding the umbrella down and not using it. We would definitely stay here again.

I went with my grandparents and son husband and child and we loved the property it’s clean and very cozy right on the beach. Everything is updated and very nice! We definitely will be coming back to this spot or one of HR other rental spots he’s a great owner very communicative and he has a beautiful property! Beautiful two bedroom just steps from the beach. There is a shared pool and common area with grill so realize that you may be sharing the space with others. Great location to the shops and restaurants of Clearwater. We definitely plan to return.

No Need To Keep Looking - This Is The ONE!
This is our 4th family visit to Clearwater through the years. We've stayed at The Hilton, got a house with a pool in town, but this is the one. Met the owner and he is a hardworking, caring and genuine person. You get what you pay for. We loved it. And walked to the restaurants and Pier. Highly recommend spending the extra money.

The perfect beach cottage!
A great place to stay! We loved how close it was to the beach and there's not as many cabanas/umbrellas as the other side of the pier which was nice. The accommodations were perfect for the 4 of us and the host was very nice!
