We have always enjoyed our stays at Endless Summer, this year was no exception. That being said, our happiness came from the view and some wonderful relationships we have developed over the years. Sadly, I am sorry to say , Unit A has never looked worse. 4 years ago it was " tired". To describe the unit today it would be called dirty, and hazardous. Lorri Marshall has ALWAYS gone above and beyond her job responsibilities, including buying me new linens for master bed. We of course reimbursed Lorri... And that is just one example of how she takes care of her customers. But Lorri can't take down wallpaper, or rip up carpets. The black mold I found was very upsetting. No doubt Lorri would have been right there to clean by my side, but that is not her role. I have shared a great many of our concerns with her, and she actively listened and took notes. Bottom line is, Unit A looked and felt " grungy". Anyone who rents immediately after our stay will find a clean unit because I scrubbed black mold away, cleaned both bathrooms throughly , cleaned and organized kitchen cabinets. Frankly, when I wasn't at the beach , I was "delousing" the unit. Perhaps I am over zealous, but anyone can see the obvious things. Please , please update and replace the carpets, inside and out. Please paint the ceiling and take down the valances from the windows --- they were so dusty I sneezed any time I tried to clean them. The outdoor fans on the deck are so rusty, they really need to be painted as well. I apologize for the tone of my missive. We don't need the Ritz Carlton, or the Four Seasons, we love Endless Summer . Please give Lorri the kudos she deserves. She was a true professional. Lorri was patient and very kind, as she always has been.
