This hotel is beautiful. The staff and service was great. It is literally beach front. The pool is a decent size and there are many loungers around the pool. The food and drinks at the restaurant by the pool was delicious! The location is awesome to all shops and restaurants. The room was very nice, clean and comfortable. The only thing that bothered me at first was the thermostat. It took a while for the room to cool down. I did have to call the front desk but someone came immediately and he explained there’s like a two degree difference. So once I knew that, the thermostat wasn’t too much of an issue.

Time was completely ruined
We always choose this hotel every year to celebrate our anniversary and always have a great experience except for this last stay. Everything was great besides an employee at the pool area named Franklin. Our first 3 days we took a small cooler and Franklin cane ovwr very rude stating no coolers, we explained its just water to stay hydrated bc we are from the north and not used to the heat, and we have been buying all our drinks from the hotel pool bar, which he could see. He still said the cooler had to be out of sight. So we put it under all our stuff and never went back to it. Not even 20 minutes later he is DIGGING thru our personal stuff and touching our belongings and took our cooler of water! After to talking to others in the pool, he did the same to them, and a lot of families had their baby formula and kids juices in their coolers and were also purchasing the other drinks from the bar! The bar didnt serve kid friendly items. After this we decided we were done with the pool and done buying drinks there as well. We avoided the pool the rest of our stay and will not be returning to that hotel for our future anniversary trips. Our waitress Kadie was awesome though! She stated Franklin was just a towel boy and had no right to do any of the things he was doing. We also witnessed him taking umbrellas from people to give to other people. Completely rude!

We LOVE Grand Wyndham Clearwater! The location is absolutely prime! It’s the closest hotel on the beach to the Pier 60. Everything is walkable from there. The stay includes 2 chairs and an umbrella setup on the beach each day which normally would run you an additional $40/day. It’s clean, it’s nice, just a beautiful resort!

Great location across the road from the beach, rooms are a nice size. Parking is expensive at $40 per day when its only $20 up the road.

Everything was incredibly expensive! Stayed for 7days and spent $18 shy of $6,500 dollars. Two alcoholic drinks and two non-alcoholic drinks were $67 on one of our drink checks, just to give you a reference. Not a great place to bring you and the family. It was absolutely ridiculous!!! Should have stayed at the Sandpearl or the Marriott down the road. Put such a bad taste in our mouths, that we won’t even come back to Florida next year for our family vacation, and we have for the last 5 years!!!
