We booked this last minute as a dog friendly hotel to meet friends. We were given a very warm welcome and staff were very hospitable and helpful throughout our visit. We stayed in Highgrove room which was a very good size and very clean. It was genuinely clean rather than chemically clean which you often find in dog friendly rooms. The food was very nice but the choice was restricted compared to the online menu.
Nice place, lovely friendly staff, room was clean and modern, food was excellent, lovely sun trap beer garden out the back, we only had a one night stay as we were passing through but I'd happily stay there again.
All the staff were lovely. Friendly and helpful, nothing appeared to be too much trouble.
The room itself was pleasant but far too hot and the fan was not adequate.

Pros: On site Parking, Wi-fi, Quality Room - Bed and Bathroom, Well cleaned, good central location in Highworth. Night key if returning to room late. Good Customer Service from Hotel Management. Pleasant bar staff. Nice ambience in the evening. Niggles: TV freeview service in room with usual cable service options (Netflix, Amazon Prime etc) with sign in. No room booklet/instructions to explain how to access these services or whether they were paid for services. 30 min timer on extractor fan each time I used bathroom (I timed it). Breakfast. Pleasant but my non full English breakfast option looked sparce on the plate in comparison to the full breakfast option. Could do with beefing up. If Hotel hosting event rear carpark gets full and there is not convenient parking options nearby (offsite). Nearly couldn't park one night of my stay arriving 8.30pm.
This is an old Hotel and has such old staircases.
Although situated on a busy road junction is very quiet inside.
The evening dinner was excellent taken from a good menu
Beautiful hotel and amazing room! Nice and clean. Breakfast, got a coffee after 5 minutes of waking, had to wait another 20 minutes for the waiter to take my order. I had to leave as I had a meeting so missed breakfast. Only 5 guests in the breakfast room! Chef could of helped out, but said it was down to the water! No team spirit and poor customer service.
