I recently stayed at the Embassy Suites in Tampa, Florida. The hotel itself was nice overall — the staff was friendly, and the location was convenient — but my experience wasn’t quite what I expected. The room wasn’t as clean as it should’ve been when I checked in, which was disappointing for the price point.
I also needed to extend my stay by one extra day, but instead of a simple adjustment, I was charged additional fees that made the overall cost higher than expected. It felt frustrating since I was already an existing guest.
I’ve stayed at other Embassy Suites properties and usually enjoy their comfort and service, so I’m hoping this was just an off experience for the Tampa location. With a little more attention to cleanliness and guest flexibility, this hotel could easily live up to the brand’s great reputation.
