Everyone was friendly and accommodating. We were there a couple weeks after hurricane Milton and the cleanup was still in progress but the hotel was clean and quiet. Definitely would stay there again.

Arrived to check in at 1am and they had canceled our reservation after I specifically called them earlier that week to make sure they were open due to the storm. Arrived and no employees were there finally someone came down an hour later after I called their main line and they finally was able to locate someone. They lied and told me that Expedia was the ones who canceled it. Called Expedia and they got in touch with the hotel and found out that the hotel canceled and told Expedia that they sent out emails, which they didn’t (lie #2). There were others trying to check in also who had no clue. My young son and I had to sleep in our rental car that night because I couldn’t find a room anywhere else that was in my price range or even available. Totally unacceptable. Will never in my life book another reservation at any Hilton brand property again nor will I ever in my life book another vacation through Expedia again.

Property is a dump. Better off at a Motel 6 than this place. Old building that isn't a 4-star hotel anymore. Management and staff are unfriendly. Reserved a room weeks before my trip only to find they didn't hold my reservation. When asked why nobody had an answer. Management gives generic vague responses to complaints and for me at least didn't follow through on basic communication or standards of a stay.

I think they did great, considering they were dealing with the aftermath of 2 hurricanes! I was very pleased with my room, it was beautiful. The only thing that worried me was security. Anyone could have gotten onto my floor at any time and I was right by the outdoor stairs. Otherwise, I’d definitely come back again!

Total disaster
We had a scheduled arrival on 10/19/24 at Hotel Alba Tapesty by Hilton in Tampa. Our reservation was unexpectedly canceled without prior notice. We had planned our trip months in advance to attend a football game. Upon arrival, we were informed by the hotel staff that they were unable to check us in. Notably, they had not contacted us prior to the trip and only informed us of the cancellation upon our request for the airport shuttle. This resulted in a five-hour delay at the Airport. Upon reaching out to Hilton, we discovered that they were unable to accommodate our request for alternative accommodations, except for one of their hotels that was significantly more expensive. Both Hilton and Hotels.com insisted that we were responsible for the difference in cost. The Hilton blamed Hotels.com, while Hotels.com blamed Hilton, neither party attempting to find a mutually agreeable solution. Given that most hotels were already fully booked, the hotel advised us that we were welcome to stay in the lobby but offered no further assistance. Consequently, we opted to stay at the Marriott hotel, which was approximately half an hour away and charged us nearly $400 more for the room alone. Instead of being conveniently located three minutes from the stadium, we were forced to take an Uber ride that cost $90 and spent a total of 1.5 hours traveling to the game. In total, we incurred over an additional $200 in transportation expenses, including the additional cost of the Marriott hotel room.

Beautiful hotel and the staff were great. Even though a lot of things were down because of the hurricane, the staff did their best to accommodate our needs. The complimentary transportation was a bonus.

The hotel was flooded and no one told us until we were at the front desk, the elevator did not work and the power went out for about 6hrs. The front staff was very unfriendly.
