The hotel and staff were excellent. What we didn’t like was the experience with Expedia on having to book to Expedia and there was a system glitch and we had to go through hoops to try to figure out how to book the hotel at 1 AM in the morning.

Loved the historic architecture, decor and friendly staff. Didn’t love being trapped in the elevator for 30min on NYE with my kid and small dog. Didn’t love the sink not draining normally and the toilet became clogged way too easily, didn’t flush any wipes or anything for it do so. Didn’t love the toiletries and would hope they move to more eco-friendly products and packaging going forward. For the price, I’d just expect better.

This not your ideal place for relaxing. It was extremely busy with several people checking in and out with their dogs. And parking isn't free and can be extremely pricey when doing valet parking.
