Friendly staff, good facilities and handy having breakfast included. Room was big and spacious, sofa bed not very comfortable but kids managed ok for two nights. Kids enjoyed the pool. Easy to get out and about, good central location.

Not clean and not comfortable
This hotel was among the most disgusting I have seen in a long time. There were stains on the couch cushions and on the chair by the tv. The floor in the “kitchen” area of the room was sticky. The bathroom was probably the worst. The bathroom smelled strongly of urine, there was a stain on the floor, and the door looks like it has never been wiped down. Come on people, do better. Act like your family would be staying there. Instead, it feels like a cheap motel. We were traveling from out of town for a very serious medical condition and we really just wanted a clean and comfortable room. My husband’s been hurting all day because the bed was horribly hard. The bedding is ripped in several places. We were freezing while it took the heater 20 minutes to kick in. I will just say that the staff seemed to be nice, but nobody ever cleans anything? The breakfast was kind of sad. If you are a vegan, there is nothing you could possibly have eaten besides fruit. We will never be staying at this hotel again.

Staff was absolutely fabulous during a two time hurricane disaster. Patient & kind. Sonia went above & beyond. Managers were cooking in the kitchen. Staff were wiping up doggie “mistakes” in the lobby. Each person deserves an applause! And a raise!

The hotel was fine and the room and view were nice, but the valet parking was difficult to find using Maps. The address took us to the building but not the entrance, which was on a one-way street. The bathroom door was a sliding barn-like version, which was hard to slide and did not offer as much sound barrier as a traditional door.

Great Downtown Hotel, Great Value
From the front desk to the bar staff and concierge, every interaction we had was helpful and hospitable. The room was clean and spacious; a great value for the price. Location is close to the Riverwalk, right downtown, very easily walkable to the free streetcar, restaurants, and points of interest. Continental breakfast was more than we expected and the common areas were clean and comfortable.
