Reasonable hotel in Tillamook
This was a one night stay on Oregon coast, the price is reasonable. Hotel is undergoing renovation, so the construction pounding started just after 8am. Our view was the flat roof above what used to be the pool area. We had a King bed, but no sleeping couch, as the reservation stated. Room was fairly clean, bathroom could be cleaner.

I chose this place because it offered breakfast, only to find out after booking they’re not serving breakfast currently, I guess due to renovations. Okay, no worries. Check-in took a long time, which I eventually realized was because multiple guests were trying to resolve various problems. The guests in front of me asked for a different room as their deadbolt didn’t work, and had to make at least 3 trips to the desk to get a new room and working key. When it was my turn to check in immediately after, the clerk tried to give me that same room with the broken lock, and suggested I wedge a chair under the door handle. She told me she thought that might be their only available room. When we asked her to check, she did give us another room but it had not been cleaned yet, so we had to go back down to the desk and get another room change. The room we finally got was good enough. One of the sinks didn’t work and the room was clean although the floors were gritty and dirty. The woman at the front desk didn’t seem particularly concerned or apologetic to us or other guests.

Need more parking. dont let cars park in movement areas stopped by at 230 room was still not ready at 415. Sink in 230 was not tightened down to counter and the faucet was difficult to turn on. Staff were nice, but it took 30 min. to find two rooms together. Seemed unaware of notes requesting this prior to arriving.

The hotel is older and rooms seem to be freshen up. New wood looking vinyl floors. Updated tv, furniture is still old. Rooms clean and smell fresh. Would like to see ubs plug to charge phones.

Unexpectedly charming
The room is so much cuter in person! It definitely gave romantic getaway vibes even though thats not what we booked it for, but it may be a reason we book again. The forest view out the window was so pretty. The king size bed & sofa were extremely comfortable. The sofa bed looked brand new and really made the room comfortable. Plenty of space, very clean, quiet, and secure. The property was well maintained and attached to a restaurant and gas station/food mart. Its undergoing renovations so no pool this time, but based on how nice they keep the property, I imagine itll be nice when it reopens, we'll definitely be back!

The hotel is undergoing renovations right now, so the lobby is still being worked on. The check in time was very slow as there was only one person working the front counter. She was very friendly had great ideas for where to go in the area. I just wished she had acknowledged me sooner. The room was very clean and looked like some improvements had been made, but still had a few to go.

We enjoyed the proximity to Tillamook Creamery, Fred Meyer and the only pizza joint in town. The rooms had been haphazardly redecorated with old holes still in the walls. It advertises breakfast, but the dining room is long since shut down, not to be reopened. Staff looks like they have been pushing the building uphill for the last 10 years. But the refit was a good sleep on comfortable beds, and the rowdies settled down around midnight. Check in was long, but check out was fast.
